I have a Honda Accord 2004 Ex 4cylinder. It was sluggish to start so we took the battery to get it tested and they said it was bad. We got a new one and the battery light stayed on when we put the battery in. Looked at my manual and it stated that maybe the alternator was bad. Took it and got it check. They said it was bad so i had it replaced. It started up but was still sluggish and the battery light was out. I took my vehicle and got the battery, alternator checked and they said both were fine and even said the starter was fine. Now the car wont even start. The lights come on but no sound when trying to start. Does anyone know what this might be?

Sounds like a starter problem. You need to have an experienced mechanic evaluate your car. You may have an electrical problem that is depriving battery power to the starter. Or it simply may be a bad starter. Once again you need to have a mechanic who is knowledgable with electrical diagnosis evaluate your cars system. hope this helps.

Starting problems on a 1992 Honda accord ex. i have no dash lights power to everything else. just no start and no dash lights, the halo around the key comes on.

Hi, First check your battery connections (clean and tight) Second check battery for 12.5 VDC Use volt meter for this. Check and load test battery. If battery fails this test replace battery. Check fuses and relays. replace if necessary (bad) Hope that helps.
If you can not perform these test yourself. Take it to a mechanic.

My 2000 honda accord ex wont start,

Is it a single loud click when you try to start it? Or multiple clicks or "buzz"? If it is a single click heard from the engine, your starter has likely failed. Test the battery first, and inspect the battery cables/connections for any looseness/corrosion.

Car won't start

sounds like a short, or grounded wire, maybe connectin lose on battery or starter, could be a bad solonoid on the starter, did you check to see if parts were new or used, they have to warranty the work, so check first if parts are new and then take back to have it tested and repaired make sure you have some one with you or take pictures of the work done, hope this works for you,,,

Power Control Module needs replacing?

There are many reasons why it has become so bad it needs replacing, But after its used for so many years it could produce problems for no reason at all.

Replace it and you shouldn't have any more trouble from it ..

1991 honda accord will not charge alternator test good

1st check and make sure you have a good ground on the battery. Check the battery. Make sure it passes a load test. It is possible that the battery is not holding a charge. Make sure all alternator connections are connected.

1997 Honda Accord EX wont start then will start

Most of these Accords had two recalls pertaining to the ingnition switch. There is an interlock issue, and an electrical portion of the ignition switch recall. I would start by replacing the electrical portion of the ignition switch as this will most times fix this issue. The clicking noise may indicate an issue with the starter however. Would advise having a starting and charging system test at a professional repair facility to check the starter, but the ignition issue would be where i would start.
