I hooked up jumper cables to what appers to be the fuse box under the hood... now I have a bad electical issue all these things don't work: radio, interior lights, Running lights, power windows, seats, nor can I chage into 4x4, or the heat settings, the back defroster doesn't work, nor the back wiper. I've checked all the fuses and they are all fine?? not sure where to turn next.

Want was the reason to hook jumper cables there . you have blown a couple relays out or blown fuseable links. i would find relays & change them out . hook cables to battery next time

Got the tuck all fixed up.... the reason I hooked the cables up there was it seemed like the right thing to do at the time.... I was obvously wrong.... but I figured out the issue... all the relays and fuses were just fine ... GMC has placed some thing called a Main fuse or a Mega fuse right in front of the forward fuse block $5.29 later we're back in business... main fuse is a 125Amp bar fuse made by littlefuse...

01 elantra won't start no radio no dash lights new battery tap starter it works now that doesn't work jumper cables didn't work

Check in fuse box under hood and dash look for blown fuses and bad starter relays. Also check ground cable from battery this needs to have a good connection. Could be a bad positive cable connection to starter solenoid. Well there's a list of things to check. Hope this helped

Kia radio no display after jump cable start - fuse not blown

Hi i had sa me issue jump started my kia rio radio display was blank. To fix open your fusebox inside the car Pull out both audio fuses your fuse puller should be in the fuse box under the hood. Yes you have two fuse boxes. One inside you car and one under the hood with your engine. wait few minutes say five... Put the fuse back in. Btw its not neccesary to pull the fuse all the way out. Your radio should show cde error... Now you will need to put in your four digit pin...gluck thanks to the guy on the internet who said pull out the memory fuse... Not that i understood till now.

Fuse box

dont forget theres a set of fuses under the hood on the gmc as well as the ones in the cab! The ones under the hood tend to blow when hooking up a trailer and if you have turn signal issues or radio issues it's probley the fuse under the hood thats blown! Good luck

My 3 year old son put some pennies in the lighter/elect. jack and now radio and elect outlets are not working. could not find bad fuse under hood. 2004 toyota corolla. are there other hidden fuses inside...

There is a fuse box located just above the drivers knee. It is very difficult to access. Lay on your back and slide under the dash, take a flashlight. The box is black in color, about 1" x 6". Pull the cover off, 15 amp fuse marked CIG.

My clock and radio are suddenly not working in my 2003 grand am

Your Vehicle has two fuse boxes one fuse box under the hood and one inside the vehicle. Check your owner’s manual and you should find the fuse panel at the side of driver’s dash console. Look at the fuse schematics for the fuse description radio then remove that fuse for a visual inspection. If it is good it could be an internal radio problem. However, If the battery jumper cables were hooked up incorrectly it may have damaged a battery cell or the regulator of the alternator and I would have her take it to NAPA, O’Reilly, or Auto Zone to have a free battery and charging system test.
