Where is the resset buton on frigidaire electric dryer machine?

have your thermal fuse checked. this fuse is on your dryer blower housing in the back of dryer. If it shows no continuity replace. If you need to replace it check the ducking on your dryer to make sure its not plugged.

check your heating element or the thermal fuses located on the back wall the side of the heating element can and the plastic blower ducting

E68 error refers to "Current leakage to ground on heater or fuse opened".Problem with the fuse.Try getting it replaced.This can be done by any local repairman.Need not be a technician from Frigidaire,as they charge a lot for servicing. Good luck with the machine.Please do post results and comments.

You either have a tripped safety switch, a burnt element, or a burnt/loose wire to/from the element and or safety switches/controlls.

If you are handy, and have the tools, it should be a fairly easy repair.

You will need a volt/ohm meter to check the element for continuity, the safelty limit switches for continuity to lacate which part is the problem. (some switches are push button resset, some are one time trip and must be replaced.

The second issue is what caused it to quit in the first place.

The #1 cause for that type of failure, is lack of airflow due to a clogged vent pipe.

Make sure the filter, dryer outlet, pipt and outlet from the house is all clear from lint, birds nests, kinks etc.

venting porbelm. do you have the vent going outside of the house or it is just indoor???
make sure there is nothing in the vent pipe.

there are about 8 screws on the back of the control panel .. or if one piece there are four scrwes that go down into the cabinet..
