89 chevy s10 misfires and sputters when i give it gas, dies when i stop. Sometimes it runs fine, but recently it's just been bad. When i rev the engine it can stabilize the idle, but usually die

check fuel pump pressure- fuel filter --air filter --egr valve if carboned up clean or replace and cat converter feel the exhaust if feels restricted may be clogging up

air filter really dirty, injectors stuck open. fuel pressure regulator is bad.

1989 Chevy S10 Blazer won't start unless I pour fuel in the TBI.

Fuel pressure regulator. It regulates the fuel pressure you receive going to the injectors. All the injectors would not be bad, so you have to take a step back to the next component, which should be the regulator.

Well you need fuel to the injectors, a spark, compression, air and a signal to the injectors to fire for the engine to start.
So if you've got fuel, make sure you have spark to the plugs, the air filter is not clogged, compression is above 120, and the crank and cam positions sensors are good.

Is there any way to test the injectors on my 98 chevy S10 4.3

DID you put in new gas, fuel treatment, new sock on fuel pump, all new fuel filters, buy inline fuel pressure gauge, check for codes?, this is not a carb where you pour fuel at it , do you have a repair manual for your truck and have you checked troubleshooting guide?

Sorry to say this but its the computer. to checkit you will have to buy a noid light and put it in the injector harness.. if it does not blink when you turn it over then the drivers are out in the computer. It can not be fixed. replace the computer. Just remember that injectors rarely go out. I have replaced two or three of them. computers do I have replaced twenty+.

Injector may be faulty. a bad dose of water may short it out. fuel does not conduct electricity water does. injectors use electronic pulse to open
