Lights on the dash with key out sounds like ignition switch issue, but I would check the battery connections at both ends on both cables. Also make sure you have a good connection for chassis ground. If that is all good, suspect the ignition switch.
This sounds like the battery may be weak or a bad connection. I would start by have the battery checked or try jump starting the car, try jumpimg it and see if that will make it start, if it starts then you may have a charging or battery problem, seeeing that this car is over 10yrs old and if the battery is the same one that came with the car then i would have to think you may have a bad battery. good day
When you turn the key to "ON" (not start), do the dash lights come on?
If no, then the main engine fuselink should be checked.
If yes, then have your diagnostic fault codes read from your vehicle's PCM - this will immediately identify the circuit/component causing this condition.
making eeee sound as the motor turning over but no fire, check if you get fuel and spark, two items that will make the any engine run, without it, it wont fire or run. check if you getting sparks, pulling the plugs out and crank the motor and see if any sparks exist, next check if you getting fuel. no sparks can be your coil. hope that help some
sounds like you are on the right track, the battery you have in it has done well to last that long but it sounds like a fell cells have decided to call it quits
if its only when you put your foot on the clutch it could be a release bearing fault, does it do it when you are not moving and put your foot on the clutch(engine running of course)
