2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Logo

I have a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and the shifter cover that slides inside a track came apart / broke in the middle. I have taken the bezels apart and can see where it broke. It doesn't look like it would stay together even if I was able to glue it, because it is a part that always is moving because of shifting gears. Does anyone know a cheap way to replace or from where and what I would need to buy and from where I could buy it, separate from a dealership? JT

2005 Jeep Cherokee Laredo- I cut three pieces of 2 inch wide black seat belt material the same length as that cheap piece of rubber. Then glued them together for a thicker belt webbing. Then heated a 3/8 piece of steel rod to melt a hole in the middle of the laminated webbing for the shifter to fit thru. Then slipped it into the slot on the console. Jeep wanted $812.00 for the replacement console.... They do not sell the little cheap piece of rubber to do your repair. Jeep wants you to buy the whole freaking console unit!

Jeep Cherokee Laredo 2005 broken rear wiper. Still attached but can't fix it just hanging there. Can I fix it

Well, yes and no!
This will be a pretty big job, as you should have to take the rear door all apart to get at the broken parts inside the door.
Often, the broken part may be nothing more than a plastic clip or bushing that has failed.
You may discover the job to take all day.
God bless your efforts.

I have a 2000 Jeep grand Cherokee Laredo and the four wheel drive is stuck in part time and the shifter moves freely up and down and won't lock in place

move car to dirt or ice, gravel , off pavement
PT is not for pavement unless covered in ice.
the operators guide told you that.

move to dirt and shift out.
if you have not already damaged it.. that is.

I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. The accordion type plastic housing that moves with the gear shift is broke. What is that part called, and how do I replace it?

I assume you mean the pieces that slide along with your automatic transmission's shifter? Those are called blinds, they're part of your shifter bezel.

To replace your bezel, you have to remove your center console. It's only nine screws. Here's a good writeup on the process: http://www.wjjeeps.com/console.htm

2005 jeep grand cherokee window problem

Try to find one at a salvage yard. Is the rubber track piece supposed to be held on by glue? You might try a good adhesive to make the old track piece stay on.

Where is the starter relay located on a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo v6

That relay is in the power distribution center near the battery. Inside box cover should be labeled.
Relay is the same as all others except for the one that serves the A/c system so generally you can swap it to test.

1999 jeep grand cherokee laredo. transmission floor shifter button to engage and disengage hard to push in. now stopped being able to push in at all

Hit the shifter on the top with a good hit to push it down, sometimes the "T" handle will come up.
The handle comes up and out if you have to replace the bezel.
