A/c promblem the a/c clutch quits after running for 10 min blows cold air but after the 10 min the clutch trys too start but won't

It's really hard to say exactly where it is, as they move them around year by year. It may be at or near the evaporator by the firewall, or up front near the condenser.

It will be at a coupling on one of the hard (aluminum) lines. You will see a "bulge"or slightly wider area of the tube about 3" long down the line from the coupling, and then the line will be its normal size.

Once you have located it, you can GENTLY pull the valve out of the tube with a pair of needle nose pliers. You will most likely see aluminum "shavings" in the screen.

Replace the filter / valve (they are under $10 from most auto parts stores). Don't try to clean it.

When refilling the R134a (after using the vacuum), it is critical not to over fill it. It's not like the R12, where more freon makes it colder.

Two, the pressure is getting too high, which also tells the system not to engage the clutch. This can be caused by a clogged a/c line filter, called an orifice tube.

When was the last time the a/c system was serviced?
