The seat on a 1300 C model comes off by removing the nut that is it the back of the seat on the fender. Then there are to bolts to remove that are about in the middle of the seat at the lower eddge of the seat, After removing the nut and the two bolts rotate the seat up from the rear and pulls it towards the rear.

2007 vtx 1300 R idles good ,starts good - but back fire when accel

a back fire is to much fuel going down the exhaust and igniting, if you changed the exhaust pipes or allterd the air cleaner you will need to get it set up on a dyno . the air flow meter could allso be playing up a dealer repair really.

2007 Honda VTX 1300 R, nice, but I am a little short. Help!

You can get your seat shaved, or you can buy 2 inch shorter rear shocks. going to get your seat shaved is the cheaper.

it's under your seat, you will need to use metric hex tool to remove your seat. after you get it off you will be able to see your battery, it's pretty easy to remove with a phillips head or a socket wrench.
