Sounds like the pressure switch underneath the bike has gone bad or the wires have come off the tabs. Follow the metal brake line that comes out of the rear master cylinder until you find the pressure switch. If the wires are on the tabs like they should be, the pressure switch is probably bad.

Good luck

My brake light does not illuminate after applying the front / foot brake. I replaced the light bulb, checked the fuses (not the relay) and still no dice.. Could it be the Selenoid and if so, where would it...

Hi Anonymous, always check the bulbs first for broken filaments. Then check the connection at the rear fender wiring harness, inspect for corroded, broken or loose pins. Use a dab of dielectric grease and repair as necessary. Check your brake relay if you have one. Hand brake lamp on instrument panel

The light is not only used to indicate that the parking brake is on, but also indicates that there is a problem with the braking system. Make sure your brake fluid is topped off.

Have a 2006 dyna wide glide foot brake light brake light hand brake does not replaced lever wherte is the brake switch

The front brake switch is located inside the right handlebar control. It is a plunger type switch. The correct way to install a new one is to solder the wires on the new switch to existing wires from the old switch. Cut the wires about 2 inches or so from the old switch. Be careful when reinstalling the front lever or you may damage the plunger on the new switch.

My brakelight is stuck on my 2006 roadking classic ive check all the wiring fuses relays front to back and still cant make it right. What am i missing?

Have you taken the front brake reservoir/brake lever assembly off before?

Usually, when the front brake reservoir is improperly re-installed, it breaks off the nub of the front brake light switch,
Without the nub, the brake lever can't push against the switch to turn it off.

A new one's about $15 - $20

Having trouble with the brakes on my '90 Ford ranger. Replaced the master cylinder and still have very little braking power. Any help would be appreciated!

***Seek out professional help this vehicle is not safe to operate.***

Check the vacuum line going to the brake booster.

This is the big round chamber behind the master cylinder.

Hope this tip helps.
