Check the switch itself for bad contacts with a 12volt bulb with long leads on it. Put one connection on the bike chassis and the other will make the bulb light up when you have a live wire and go out when the wire or switch contact is faulty.
Hope this helps.

2002 Suzuki Intruder 1500LC has no power, main and regular fuses are ok

When it shuts off while driving, a vacuum in the gas tank can built up when the gas cap is restricting ventilation.
The power regulator may be at fault as well. Have you checked the ignition coil for power? Is it going to the spark plugs?

2008 yamaha r6 wont start i put in a new ignition now my fuel pump wont ingage and my neutral light wont come on for some reason my bike will not start or turn over what is wrong and how do i fix

Good Morning,. I found this for you.. worth a shot:
  • verify that the main fuse is not blown. It would be inside the starter relay. To locate the starter relay, follow the cable from the battery's + terminal;
  • if the battery and the main fuse checks good, then check the voltage on the red wire from the starter relay to the ignition switch;
  • do the same and check for the presence of +12 to the brown wire from the ignition switch to the CDI.
  • Best regards

My 2002 Pontiac Sunfire won't start, not even with a boost. Any idea? No electrical input at all.

If there is no power to anything when the ignition is switched on then you have a fault in the main power circuit which could be the main fuse is faulty. Check the main power fuse's positioned by the battery. Also check the main power and earth/ground cables from the battery.
Hope this helps.

Check your starter relay. In the main fuse panel in the engine compartment. If that goes out then the car will not turn over. If that checks out and is fine, then you might want to check the ignition system. The coil could have corrosion and might not be operating properly.

No eletrical power any where. Battery has a full

Do you have the owner's manual?
I would start by finding out where the fuses for the electrical system are located.
Then you need to find out which one is the main power fuse and try replacing it.
While you are looking at the fuse box, I would pull out and examine the other fuses, a little preventive medicine is cheap insurance down the road.
If that doesn't work your ignition system may have a cut off function that needs to be reset.
I hope that gives you a couple of ideas to work with.
