Question about 2003 Sachs Roadster 125 V2

1 Answer

What type of oil should you put in a Madass 125 cc motorbike? Also if the motorbike is having a problem getting into 2nd gear, what could be the cause of this problem? Gear box? There is no oil in the motorbike so we know it does need oil urgently.

Nice bike!
The gearbox may be save-able if it hasn't done too many miles with no oil.
I would use a good quality semi-synthetic 10-40 multigrade but for acurate description of your bike, check this web site out. It may help you out.

Safe riding.

Can i get an owners manual for my 2006 Sachs Madass ?

Hi, Calvin the vast majority of service, parts fiche, and owners manuals on the internet are "FREE" to download and all service manuals contain wiring diagrams in the back pages. The rest usually charge a modest fee around $10 and there is a handful of obscure, rare, obsolete, and very old models that are no longer or never were available, for these rare occasions I shall look on eBay and find the cheapest one available. Most of the manuals will cover your exact make, model, and year otherwise one will be provided that comes as close as possible to your bike and will have most of the same info that an exact manual would have. If there is no $ sign after the manual link it is free to download for viewing or printing. To download your manual please click on the blue links below. Good luck and have a wonderful day

My ktm exc is losing power and cutting out does any know what it could be

Give the bike a proper service and check the coils. The service should include oil and air filters and replacing the oil and spark plug. 125 cc motorbikes tend to have a very hard life, they are generally abused by novices and not looked after, this will cause reliability problems. But, a good service will mean you have a standard from which to work, also you will get to know your machine and find where it is likely to go wrong in the future before it actually does.

Madass 125 starter not working

Hi, Anonymous before testing any electrical component in the Starting System it is "IMPERATIVE" that you have a fully charged battery of 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test if necessary, you may have a preliminary reading of 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amperage, the battery is faulty and must be replaced. AGM type batteries fall into this scenario more so than lead-acid batteries.
1. Ignition Switch not in the "ON" position.
2. Engine Run Switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Check the battery terminals for damage or corrosion check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter.
4. Bank angle sensor needs a reset or is faulty.
5. FOB battery low or dead.
6. Faulty ignition switch.
7. Faulty starter button.
8. Faulty kickstand, clutch, neutral safety switch.
9. Security alarm needs a reset.
10. Starter relay, solenoid, starter motor or circuit wiring faulty.
11. Starter armature or field coils have failed.
12. Main fuse or circuit breaker may be blown or faulty.
13. Faulty ignition relay.
14. The electric starter is working but starter clutch has failed.
15. Check for engine trouble codes.

What oil do i put in the engine i have a rm125 2006 model

For any 2 stoke motocross bike you can get specific two stroke gear oils from bike shop or simular just make sure it is motor bike specific as your clutch depends on it... as for brand and weights not so important just change regularly and use motorbike specific two stroke gear oil and will be just fine. I always use Bellray oils but its just personal preference and my local bike shop just happens to stock bellray products cheers mate

The oil capacity for your gear box is .69 us quarts or .65 liters.

The best type of oil to use is Yamalube 4(10w-30). You can use car oil in a pinch but isn't really recommended. The short reason why is: Car oil has friction modifiers in it where oil specifically made for a motorcyle doesn't. The frictions modifiers can and will make your clutch slip. The cover may also have a number such as 750 or 850 stamped in it. Then you can just go by what it says on the side of the oil container. I believe 850 is around 3/4 of a quart.

I really hope this helps you,

And yes I have put synthetic(Royal Purple5w/30) oil in my 2001 Yz 125 without any ill results so it can be done, just probably won't be good for it over a long period of time.
Have FUN!
