Question about 2007 Honda SCV 100 Lead
Hi, my honda lead scv has suddenly developed a problem.will not tick over and keeps cutting out.it appears to me that the automatic choke is not working. any advise Regards Donald @
Hi, Donald and the usual suspects are:
1. Fuel cap or fuel tank is not venting properly.
2. Fuel filter clogged.
3. Fuel line pinched or kinked.
4. Vacuum line from the petcock to intake manifold cracked.
5. Float needle and seat sticking.
6. Float level too low.
7. Carburetor bowl vent line clogged/blocked/pinched.
8. Idle adjusting screw set too low.
9. Air/fuel mixture screw set too lean.
10. Idle port, transfer ports, slow air jet clogged.
11. Slow fuel jet clogged.
12. Faulty fuel pump.
13. Faulty auto choke or wiring connection.

That's a sign that you charging system (ALTERNATOR) is failing. Get charging system checked asap. Auto Zone checks system for FREE. Good Luck and contact if you need more help. Thanks for using FIX YA

Check the starter relay in the battery compartment. Look at the relays terminals and clean it, test it by means of activating the electric starter, a clicking sound should be heard, if not replace the relay. If there is a clicking sound and motor would not run, the starter motor have a problem.
Try Youtube for video repairing of that starter. just type the model and problem of your scooter in their search box.
