If it was working before, there is no need to worry about the firing order as that never changes. Things to look at;
Clean and correctly gapped spark plugs,
Clean gas,
Fuel filter?
and a clean carburetor, float bowl and jets.

Fill the tank and all fuel filters with diesel... There should be one or two fuel pressure release valves on the fuel line, one after the pump and filter.
If there's only one, losen it, and crank over engine, let all the air out of the system, and wait till there's only diesel, gushing out of the line, before you tighten up the valve.
If there's 2... Open both and Start with the one farthest away from the injectors...when fuel comes close the farthest one first, then the other one.
Hi, drain the diesel from the fuel tank and carby bowl and re fill tank with correct fuel. It will smoke when first started but it will clear and run fine. Regards Phil.
i had the same problem, it is most likely that your fuel lines are leaking and fuel pump in tank is weak when the tractor sits for a while the fuel drains back into the tank, thus your injection pump has no fuel in it.i solved it by replacing all the lines and i added electric fuel pump on outside of tank and connected the power to key,when i start the tractor i turn key on for a minuet or so than start the engine ,it solved the problem. john b
Don't run it until you've completely drained and flushed and refilled the fuel system, tank, lines, pump... Don't run it! Diesel fuel is more of an oil whereas gas is more volitile... Avoid starting or running to prevent any damage to your engine!
I will assume you have bled the fuel system per the owners manual to ensure no air lock in your system. This is especially critical after replacing the injector pump.
The next step is to ensure you fuel filters are good and flowing and last but probably the problem is the screen on the petcock (fuel shut off) in the fuel tank. Remove this shutoff valve and clean the screen with a fine wire brush and carburetor cleaner.
