Question about Harley Davidson FXDI Dyna Super Glide Motorcycles
Sounds like it's overhaul time for your four speed. It may be something to do with the shifting mechanism but since you didn't mention anything about problems in the other gears, it would be my guess that the spacer shims on the countershaft have worn and you have too much endplay in the countershaft. Just a guess of course. You really can't tell about those until you go into them.
