Someone has been using tap water in the radiator and the minerals have deposited. The coolant system needs to be flushed before replacing the water pump.
it could be that the water sensor is not resetting, take the back off remembering to unplug the machine and look for a small 5mm pipe leading upwards, take it off and blow gently into it, you will hear a click and one when you release the air, if so then the place where you took the pipe from is blocked preventing the water sensor to work properly, so unblock the pipe with a pipe cleaner or a metal rod to unblock it, replace the pipe and run the machine again eric
TEMPORARILY disconnect exhaust vent and see if it still does it. If it runs for a few minutes like that, normally your problem is something in your vent pipe. If plastic vent pipe, even a puddle of water, if the pipe is not sloped correctly. Water in the vent pipe has to run downhill all the way to the furnace. If metal vent, probably a clog somewhere.
Starter is under the hood 100% there!
u will not be able to see it from the top!
it locates (if its V6 2.7L) on the front of engine, under the hood u will see exhaust pipe with a sensor closer to the radiator. to replace it u need to lift car and start from the bottom, take off "Y" shaped pipe, from the top cover of the exhaust pipes and u will see what to do then. ( it took me to change starter about 3 hours) but u can do it in 2 hours.
The freezer defrosts every day. the puddle is from that. It is supposed to go into a pan at the bottom and evaporate. You need to look at the pan and determine if it has a hole or the drain hose is leaking somewhere.
