Man thats weird. Are you shure its oil, or is it water that has turned black from carbon in the pipes.

If your pumping oil into the exhaust it could be a bad ring or valve guide, but this would usually foul your plugs. Man this is an interesting problem,,,,keep me informed

Gasoline runs through carb and out muffler

The needle valve isn't seating and sealing off the flow of fuel, you also need to check your oil to make sure it doesn't have fuel mixed in with the oil, it can ruin your engine, quick fix install an inline fuel shut off valve and turn it off when you shut the engine off, and this will fix the problem.

This is obviously a clutch issue. IIRC, Goldwing has a hydraulic clutch, so I'd start by bleeding it (especially if the oil in it is older than two years). Other than that, you'll need a mechanic to check it out.

Hi Most likely your engine shut off first then the light goes on as soon as the engine oil pressure dropped sounds like you have a carb problem and the motorcycle is running on the choke circuit. then it dies after the choke is turned off.

84 to 89 1200s goldwings have a pulse generator

1984 models have the PGs at the back of the engine. The engine has to come out to get at them, or I think you can pull the swingarm instead.
From 1985 the PGs are under the timing belt covers. Still not the easiest to get at.

My engine exhaust smells like raw fuel

Most Goldwings smoke if you park them on the side stand. I always use the center stand, Like wise if you have a stuck float or a bad float needle gas will run through the cylinder and out the exhaust valve into the muffler if you do not shut off your gas when not riding. This would cause raw fuel in the exhaust. If leaking on the center stand, more gas ends up in the oil. Check to see if you have more oil than you should in the crankcase. If you do change your oil . If this happens all the time you probably need to rebuild your carbs and change your fuel filter.

I just rebuilt the carbs on my 1982 goldwing interstate and now it is blowing white smoke out of the right side exhaust

Hi, P_cameron001 your instrument gauges and lights can alert you to most electrical and engine issues they can not warn you about failed engine gaskets or seals so your engine has to resort to old fashion alert methods of colored "SMOKE SIGNALS" here is a breakdown of their meaning:
1. COLORLESS OR SLIGHTLY BLUE SMOKE on start-up means your air/fuel mixture is at the right composition and everything is well burnt in your combustion chamber.
2. BLUE SMOKE on start-up is usually caused by failed valve seals dripping oil into the combustion chamber when the engine is not running.
3. YELLOW OR BROWNISH SMOKE at start-up means your air/fuel mixture is too lean. Too lean means that there is low fuel but high air mixture in your combustion chamber.
4. WHITE SMOKE on start-up may be caused by a blown head gasket allowing coolant to enter the combustion chamber and may start dripping out of the exhaust pipes or mufflers. Smoke while riding is usually caused by worn out or damaged valves, seals, guides, pistons, rings, or cylinder walls.
5. BLACK SMOKE on start-up is usually caused by too much fuel in the combustion chamber this can be due to air/fuel mixture adjustment too rich, accelerator pump improperly adjusted, faulty choke/enrichner or not in the off position, air filter dirty and clogged, faulty carburetor float needle and seat, pilot jet too large, fuel injectors leaking, smoke while riding is usually caused by the main jet being too large or a damaged carburetor.
It should be noted that aggressive or abnormal throttle operation will cause these conditions to manifest themselves exponentially.

I have a 1986 Honda Goldwing that got tipped over but strong winds. I can get the bike started but it will shut down if I drive it 2 to 3 block or if I let it sit idling for a few minutes. What do I need...

The early model Gold Wings were known for the timing belt coming off or jumping a tooth when the bike went down or fell over. I had a friend who dropped his in the sandy soft shoulder of his driveway, the timing belt did jump. Hope that helps, at least the timing belt is fairly easy to access.
