the rear disk is out of round-lift the rear up and spin tire you will see its warped--replace or remove it -the front brake is all u need unless ur a dragracer-a repair manual is still helpful

Burning smell from drivers side rear wheel

This happens often on Fieros. It turns out that the clamp that holds the brake hose rusts. The rust presses against the hose, restricting it's flow. You don't notice when the brakes are worn and basically not working, but after repairs you get locked up or overheated brakes. Remove or replace clamp and or hose.

Clutch slipping

Maybe the clutch plate is worn and only shows signs of wear with a load. If the vehicle is used in stop and go traffic or off road in sandy locations wear @ 60,000 mile is not highly unusual. I would have the disk replaced and the fly wheel and pressure plate resurfaced before it gives problems under normal load. Hope that helps.

Breaks

no its not normal unless your holding down the foot brake,,,i would say the calaber is sezed up to check this life the rear wheel and spin the rear wheel if its binding up the brakes are sticking on if so get a short leaver and jentely pull the pads away from the disk (rotor) until there fully in the calaber them apply the brakes till there freed off,,if they wont free off you will need to strip the rear brakes to fix the calaber

Hot brakes

my front disk brake was hot. When i parked my bike in front of my house I heard that dissipating heat ticking that would normally be associated with a hot engine only it was my front disk. This was just from everyday ride through town. I never noticed if car rotors got hot so I have to ask if its normal for a bike rotor to heat up after some use? It was too hot to feel with your hand but not glowing red or smoking. Nor did it give the aroma of toasted brakes. It will generate heat normally. Lift the front end and spin the wheel to see if your pads are dragging.,,,
