My daily ride 99 shadow AERO. Ran great this morning, got to work and then it seemed to be only firing on one cylinder, don't smell fuel, now it wont start, maybe a few cranks and quits...any ideas? Can't get both to fire up.

Could be your stator failing. How are your connections? Are they clean and tight? Have you measure the resistance of the coils? That is a good place to start. Test coils and see if they are putting out power. Test stator to coil to see if stator is putting out power to your coils.
One other thing you can do is if you have injectors on this bike is to measure the injector pulse to see if the injectors are spraying fuel into each cylinder. Or remove the injector sligtly out of the cylinder and see if it is spraying fuel.

sounds like a CDI issue!
could also be an ignition switch or run/stop switch issue.
is the bike lacking any power when running?
Maybe stator pick-up coil as well.
Have electrical components checked at the dealer.

I HAVE A HONDA 2005 HONDA SHADOW AERO. RAN FINE YESTER DAY. WENT TO START IT THIS MORNING AND FORGOT TO PULL OUT CHOKE IT STARTED THEN DIED. PULLED THE CHOKE STARTED UP AND RAN FOR 45 SECONDS AND THEN...

You have 2 solutions : take out the spark plugs and dry them with cloth, put them back in and start the bike.
Or, leave the bike over the night and the excess fuel on spark plugs will evaporate.
If the engine is hot and you have this problem, just leave the bike for half an hour and start it.

I recently changed the oil on my 2005 Honda Shadow 750 Aero, the next day riding home from work my bike died as if it was not getting gas. It immediately fired back up and I began to ride home, it happened...

If you have a fuel pump, that could be the problem. If the pump is not working, only 1 cylinder will get some fuel. Maybe water came into electrical part of the pump and shot the fuse, just check the pump operation.

1998 Honda VT 600 C Shadow one cylinder stops firing occasionally

Hi, Charsman_99 and the usual suspects are:
1. Severely discharged or a damaged battery must have 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test if necessary, you may have a preliminary reading of 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amperage the battery is faulty and must be replaced, AGM batteries fail in this scenario more so than lead acid batteries.
2. Faulty alternator/generator and or voltage regulator.
3. Loose or corroded battery terminals and or cables especially the "NEGATIVE" cable, look for loose, corroded, or broken connectors inside the cable harness at "BOTH" ends.
4. Faulty main circuit breaker or ignition switch, check for loose connections and continuity.
5. Faulty system and or ignition relay, check for continuity.
6. Faulty ignition coil, ignition/electronic module.
7. Faulty CKP, CPS, CMP, MAP, TPS, or BAS sensor, corroded, loose or broken wire connector pins/sockets.
8. Throttle cables and or idle speed improperly adjusted hot idle speed should be 950 RPM to 1000 RPM.
9. Faulty neutral, side stand or clutch lever safety switch.
10. Fuel tank empty
11. Fuel tank contaminated with ethanol sludge.
12. Water or dirt in the fuel system, or clogged filter.
13. Restricted, blocked or kinked fuel line.
14. Faulty fuel pump.
15. Faulty pressure regulator.
16. Faulty or clogged fuel injectors.
17. Lean angle switch is faulty or needs adjustment.

Ok. got a '99 clio rxe with the 1.6ltr 8V engine which has developed misfire. coils fine, spark getting to plug fine, and after changing plugs around I know plugs work fine also. Ran fuel cleaner through...

That's a good starting point. Make sure the injector electrically working (getting signal to fire) If so take a fuel pressure test to see if the fuel psi is within spec. If not (high psi) the injector is probably your cause. (usually not firing, electrical)

THE REAR CYLINDER IS NOT FIREING AT ALL, CHANGED OUT BATTERY CLEANED SPARK PLUG HAD CARBS CLEANED, ONLY HAS 5K ON A 1999 AREO 1100? WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM

Check for these three necessary elements: spark, fuel, and compression. In order of likelyhood, 1)There's either a plugged up carburetor, 2) defective spark plug, or 3) lack of compression on the non-functioning cylinder.
