Question about 1999 Honda VT 1100 C3 Shadow Aero
Could be your stator failing. How are your connections? Are they clean and tight? Have you measure the resistance of the coils? That is a good place to start. Test coils and see if they are putting out power. Test stator to coil to see if stator is putting out power to your coils.
One other thing you can do is if you have injectors on this bike is to measure the injector pulse to see if the injectors are spraying fuel into each cylinder. Or remove the injector sligtly out of the cylinder and see if it is spraying fuel.
