After installing k&n cold air intake on my 2014 Sierra ,it bogs when you hit the gas. Does anyone know the problem?

The problem is you installed an expensive piece of junk in your car instead of just renewing your stock air filter element every year or 18 months to keep it clean and free flowing.

Take it up with K and N who told you what a great product it was for your vehicle and who will now tell you that your installation is faulty which in any case, it may well be.

But in any case just changing the intake air flow characteristics from stock can be enough to make your engine running poorly and no amount of fiddling with the replacement intake will remedy this kind of problem when it occurs.

Did you fall for the tiny HP gain shown in their videos. Well putting a vehicle on a Dyno with an old and dirty stock air filter is going to produce poor performance compared to a second Dyno test where a new air filter is installed regardless of whether it is a good factory stock item or a K and N product. By the way independent tests have shown clearly that the K and N air filters allow much more dirt to enter your intake than the efficient stock OEM air filters do. Yes, the filter is there to keep out the dirt particles.

Put the stock system back on with a new air filter element and your engine will run properly again.

Fz1 idle adjust

fiddly job
but easy to do
remembering what bolt and plug goes where
you will have to remove your petrol tank and air filter box
fuel tank has 3 bolts 1 at the bottom 2 at the top by the head stock
slowly remove the fuel tank remembering to turn off the stop tap
and remove the fuel pipe and the fuel gauge sensor wire

air filter box
under the air filter box
there are four banjo clamps
that hole the air intake tubes to the carburetors
undo these four screws and remove the air filter box

you will then see where your idle cable is located
just replace the idle adjust cable and reassemble the
air filter box and fuel tank in the reverse way you took it apart

Installing temperature gauge 1999 Mustang 3.8L

Congrats. Sarcasm is free.
I didn't see a question, so let's play the guessing game.

Air temp?
Water temp?
Oil temp?
Trans temp?
Your temp?

Do you need to know how to mount a gauge to the dash?
Do you need to know where to run the power wire for gauge light?
Do you need to know where to install the sensor on intake and or engine?
Do you need to borrow some tools?

I feel better after unloading sarcasm.

Now, I'm going to assume it's water temp.

if it's electronic, you can just remove the stock sensor wire from on/near the waterneck/thermostat housing and plug in the new wire.

If it's mechanical, you will need to install the new probe into a port where it can contact the water.

On my old 3.8 (1997) I changed to an aftermarket waterneck that had a spot to screw in a temp probe.

On my 2003 gt, I haven't upgraded gauges yet, but the water sensor is on the front passenger side of the intake. I will add a pic of my gt so you can see the placement.

With this type, you can just add your wires to it (splice them in) and keep both the stock gauge & the aftermarket.
Or just remove the stock wire, then the stock sensor, then install the new stuff.
it's the black wire near the alternator. (almost center right of the pic to the right of the pink fuel injector)

IF YOU DO-NOT, YOU RUN A VERY HIGH RISK OF DAMAGING THE SENSOR AND ALSO OTHER ELECTRONIC CIRCUITS ON YOUR CAR.

AFTER, YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE SENSONS AND OR ELECTRONICS SYSTEMS, THEN & ONLY THEN RECONECT THE (-) NEG - CABLE BACK ON TO THE BATTERY.

Location of mass air flow sensor on a 2002 pontiac firebird

It should be along the air intake. A block box about 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" held on by 4 ? screws. Easy to replace, but kind of pricey. They make a product for cleaning them. Try that first. Do not touch the wire resistor that goes into the intake. It's delicate.

Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PVC) Valve Removal & Installation 5.7L Engine To Remove:
1.The PCV valve is mounted into the top/right side of the intake manifold.

2.The PCV valve is sealed to the intake manifold with two O-rings.

3.Free the PCV valve by rotating counter-clockwise 90 degrees until the locating tabs align with the openings on the manifold.

4.Remove the PCV valve by pulling straight up from intake manifold and clearing the tabs.

5.Check the condition of two valve O-rings.
To Install:
  1. Clean the PCV valve opening on the intake manifold.
  2. Inspect the PCV valve O-rings. Replace if suspect.
  3. Apply engine oil to the two O-rings.
  4. Place the PCV valve into intake manifold.
  5. Rotate the valve 90 degrees clockwise for installation.
6.1L Engine To Remove:
  1. The PCV valve is threaded into the right-front corner of the intake manifold.
  2. Remove the rubber hose from the PCV valve.
  3. Unscrew the PCV valve from the intake manifold.

Look for attachment bolts inside the air box under the filter at the bottom. ducts usually pull right out, just watch that you don't break or damage wiring etc.
