Check your steering head bearings. If they are worn replace them. But at least take off your upper triple clamp and tighten them.

Does it feel like its coming from the front or a certain side in the front and can you feel it in the steering wheel or brake pedal. Is it only at certain speeds accelerating, braking, decelerating or is it constant.

Front vibration when braking. replaced both calipers & pads. Any thoughts?

usually a front vibration during braking is a warped brake rotor. if it only vibrates from the front wheels during braking, it's bad brake rotors. brake rotors cost $23.00 each at auto zone auto parts stores. just confirmed that for you. thank you for choosing fixya.com

Had bad vibration in front end of car when brakes applied, installed new rotors and pads, still have slight vibration when brakes applied.

do u feel the vibration in the steering wheel or in the seat,i bet the most vibration was coming out of the front brakes and a little out of the rear brakes,u might want to change the rear brakes if the vibration is still annoying, also were the front wheels torqued to spec when installed?? if not u might end up with warped front brakes again, hope this helped

Steering wheel vibrates at any load on the steering wheel right or left and the brake pedal vibrates when depressed both feel like the same vibration and this all happens at stop or go

Hi

First check that the wheel studs are correctly tightened on the vehicle!

Sounds obvious I know but I have seen it happen and we sometimes have a tendency to overlook the most obvious issues of all!

Now to deal with the other aspects and potential causes of this problem. Steering wheel vibration under braking is most often down to warped rotors. Other factors like badly worn brakes pads or suspension wear can also play a part but warped brake rotors are the most common cause of this. You can have the rotors repaired by machining them but in my experience this always turns out as a false economy in the long run. Best advice replace rotors altogether if found to be warped.

In dealing with the rotors you should also have your other braking components checked e.g hoses, calipers and also replace the brake pads and fluid as required.

Wheel vibration that occurs under normal driving in the absence of braking is a different issue and has other potential causes.

1) Wheel balance is out.
2) Worn suspension components/bushings on the vehicle.
3) Vehicle alignment is badly out.
4) Wheel rim(s) are buckled
5) Tyre(s) distorted or damaged.

As you appear to be having problems on both braking and driving it is important to have all of these issues checked.

Hope this helps. Please do rate my answer. Thanks.

Juddering and noise on front wheels when braking

The disks may be warped, which will cause a vibration under braking.
Also if it's an ABS system, the vibration is normal but only under heavy braking, and should not continue to vibrate when working properly.
