Hi, Neil for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix/test or parts inquiry. If necessary transport your vehicle to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your issue. 2007 chevrolet impalahave a 07 impala runs great till ur rpm meter goes past 4000rpm then drops down to 0 runs bad after shut down engine for around 10 mins then runs good again check with scanner no

It needs a scanner on it to find the problem while driving it. Several things can cause this. At 4000 rpm's in park the ecm will suppress the engine. this would be the Neutral safety switch. So going from there, if not the switch, it could be wiring or a bad buffer in the ecm.

2004 Triumph Thunderbird Sport. Bike will not take more than 1/3 throttle when it stumbles like it's missfiring. If I close the throttle slightly it accelerates away. It does this at all speeds in...

unlikely to be an igniter as it accelerates after backing off a bit
any problem in that electronic box will fail worse with more revs indicates a problem in the carbys still with a power diaphragm not operating correctly
could be an incorrect jet size in that area , float level or a vacuum advance operation

Hi. I have a 94 F250, 4.9 automatic. When parked over night, fuel seems to drain back to tank and it takes alot of cranking to get it running again. It stumbles and runs rough till it's pressurized...

There is a check valve in the tank, part of the sending unit. you can't buy it by itself. Instead of cranking on the starter to get it started. just turn the key on and off 3 or 4 times. it energizes the fuel pump everytime you do it. this should get your vehicle started.

I have a 96 camaro 3800 v6 it stumbles and misses when taking off and when in full throttle, but once you get past 2000 rpm its fine

4.3L for some reason tend to have problems with the fule pressur regulator. its a smoll round metal valve. you will fined it on the driverside fuel rail. also replace your fule filter and run an injection cleaner through the tank. hope this helps.
