Question about 1993 Honda CBR 900 RR Fireblade
I have a 1993 CBR Fireblade 900RR. my question is: Can a motorcycle engine size up after you park the bike from a 7 mile ride and oil was desperately needed before 7 mile ride.? When I try to crank the bike I only get a hard electric starter like click as if the starter might be bad. The engine is not turning over at all. I do know that I've had problems before with a bad stator, and I've had some wires under my seat burned before, but this time only one wire looks a little suspect but not charred. I also smell gasoline now and it is leaking fuel from somewhere very very discretely.
Hi, Jamesallenbs before testing any electrical component in the Starting System it is "IMPERATIVE" that you have a fully charged battery of 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test if necessary, you may have a preliminary reading of 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amperage, the battery is faulty and must be replaced. AGM type batteries fall into this scenario more so than lead acid batteries.
1. Ignition Switch not in the "ON" position.
2. Engine Run Switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Check the battery terminals for damage or corrosion check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter.
4. Bank angle sensor needs a reset or is faulty.
5. FOB battery low or dead.
6. Faulty ignition switch.
7. Faulty starter button.
8. Faulty kickstand, clutch, neutral safety switch.
9. Security alarm needs a reset.
10. Starter relay, solenoid, starter have failed or circuit wiring faulty.
11. Starter armature or field coils have failed.
12. Main fuse or circuit breaker may be blown or faulty.
13. The electric starter is working but starter clutch has failed.
14. Check for engine trouble codes.

SOURCE: broken Gear
heyii there is a shaft coming ut of the engine crank that connects to your transmission shaft which drives your gears and hence wheels.. so your 2nd gear must have worn out and for that reason the gear isn't working well.. get your gear box opened and check the gear.. Check fuel pump is working(remove seat and tank)Although your bike has carbs, they are fed by a fuel pump(under seat and tank)
if there is no fuel getting pumped when you are cranking over, replace fuel pump relay(cheapest option)If still no joy your fuel pump is u/s.although hondas have a seperate small vacume type hose running off the back of the pump, any pump off a kawasaki zx7/zx9 will do the job(they are all made by the same firm)

Sounds like you've diagnosed it yourself, champ. If you've got power to the coils but nothing coming out... then you'll need to get new coils!

Almost certainly a bad battery. Put a voltmeter on the battery and check it while trying to start the bike. If it drops to less than 10v the battery is dead.

if it is the the alternate of the cbr 900rr 1995 bike then replace it but i think , you'd better look for the alternate exhaust if it is cbr 900rrt even though but size matters.
