I need the diagram for a 2002 Chevy Cavalier Stereo. We are trying to hook up a Durabrand CD player, but we don't know what all of the wires are for. Thanx.

There is also a thin black wire (just another ground wire), and a purple wire. The purple wire is not used in a 2002 Cavalier, and should be capped off and left alone.
On my 2002 cavalier, I have a factory Delco amp that runs the dual voice coil 6x9s on the rear deck.my question is, how do you wire the speakers if you are replacing the factory speakers that have 4 wires? I would love to still be able to use the factory amp but when I try to hook them up like in parallel to bridge the amp it shuts down all sound! Is this even possible to do or will I just have to use 2 of the 4 wires per 6x9" speaker to hook up the aftermarket 6x9"s? Any help with this would be much appreciated. I do have it hooked up now using the wire diagram of the 02 cavalier w/o factory amplifier. (It has the same color wires, it just has two extra wires per speaker that I have taped off. Thanks.
