Sky jet sj125 vacuum pipes 2 coming off the tap, one goes on carb and one inlet manifold and a crossover from box that connects to air box and inlet manifold. tried and tried it won't fire.

Hi, Terry and the usual suspects are:
1. Fuel tank empty.
2. Fuel supply valve/petcock turned off.
3. Fouled spark plugs.
4. Engine flooded as a result of overuse of the enricher.
5. Vacuum hose to the fuel supply valve/petcock disconnected, broken, cracked, or pinched.
6. Fuel valve/petcock or filter clogged.
7. Discharged battery, check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
8. Loose or corroded wire connection at the coil, battery or plug between ignition sensor and module.
9. Spark plug cables in bad condition and shorting, cable connections loose, or connected to the wrong cylinders.
10. Ignition timing incorrect due to a faulty ignition coil, ignition module or sensors (MAP, CMP, CKP, O2 and/or BAS).
11. Security alarm needs a reset.

How to derestrict a sukida 125t-18 scooter

Hi just food for thought, the old scooters used to have a washer in the top of the down pipe where the exourst gose into the cylinder head,or they stoped the carb from opening fully by restricting how fare the slide in the carb would open.

Znen 125t-f scooter starts but wont go

Make sure the airbox and filter are in place and securely attached to the carburetor. Check that the carburetor is secure in the intake. Make sure no vacuum hoses are missing or ports are left uncapped. Verify that the spark plug cap, ignition coil connectors, stator connections, and grounds are not loose. The fuel lines/filter could be partially clogged. The float level (in the carb) could be set too low. The carburetor may need to be cleaned. Carburetor jetting or adjustments could be off.

Hi i have a poineer 125 scooter. the problem is when at top speed the bike draws bk and spluters it feels to slow iv changed the spark plug.the bike used to do 65 even 70 mph but now it struggles to do 50....

You say that it did 70 after the belt was changed, this seems to indicate that the belt could be slipping. Either replace the belt again or get hold of some belt dressing which makes the belt grip better in the pulleys. Another thing to look for is a blocked exhaust port and muffler box plus look at your air filter to see if it is not perhaps restricting inlet air flow.

Hi,my scooter has not been started for over a year.only 287 miles on the clock. got it started it idles, but as soon as you rev the throttle it dies. The fuel was very dirty and has now been...

Sounds like the fuel may have become contaminated and solidified in the carburettor, have you removed and cleaned the jets, if the fuel was old then this is a likely cause you may have to fine wire through the jets to clear any obstructions

I own a SKYJET SJ125and it today cut out at lights and now starts everytime but cuts out soon as my rpm drops below 2000 i was wondering if you had any idea what this could be?

Try switching your spark plug, I had a problem with my skyjet cutting when I was driving esp when I slowed, couldn't see the problem, but I changed my spark plug and it runs real well.

I have a skyjet 50cc scooter and am having problems starting it it makes a noise a few times then nothing seems like battery is dead but it is fully charged its a sonik skyjet

You will need to replace your solenoid. Just keep tapping your start button while looking for the source of that clicking sound. When you locate the solenoid you should have 3 to 4 wires to remove. I suggest you take a digital snapshot of it before removal so you can remember how to reinstall the new one. A generic solenoid is all that is needed to get you up and running, and these can be found in most any motorcycle shop.
