Two stroke enduro bikes are not made for road use, despite the vibrations the bike itself doesn't handle good , the power delivery is pretty much on/off style not smooth at all plus no oil for lubrication and high revs. If you want to use it to connet the trails can be ok but any consistent road used will blow up the engine and the transmission definitely not the right bike for road.
that's my modest opinion bye

Speed sensor location on a 2000 fat boy

Hi Anonymous, always check your instrument fuse before performing the next procedure, try cleaning your speed sensor located on top of the transmissions right side between the top cover and the chrome starter end cap on Twin Cams and on top of the engine case between the rear cylinder and the starter motor for Sportsters. Remove the the bolt that secures the sensor and pull it out of the transmission. Inspect sensor for obvious damage and repace if necessary. If sensor has no damage then wipe clean any obvious contamination like micro fiberous material with a clean rag and reinstall, torque bolt to 8 ft lbs. 2003 HD Road King - starts fine, idle normal. Once it is warm, idles at 2000 rpm. Does not come back down, even after riding for an hour or two. Only idles normal when cold. Help??

If you bike is equipped with a carburetor, the idle stop screw is located at the top of the carb on the right side. Counterclockwise turn slows the idle speed.

If you bike is fuel injected, a dealer or shop will have to set the idle speed electronically.

Good Luck

Hi very quick question, i have just bought a wr250 and have no idea what oil/fuel ratio to use, thank you andy

32:1 is good, and jet to that, if needed. Use a good two stroke pre-mix.
Maxima, Golden spectro, or something dependable.
