Pull the slides from the throat of the carbs, Move the clip on the jet needles one notch lower, two notches at the most. Simple and didn't cost $400.

your best bet it to order back threw the dealer, but they should offer some kits for the bike threw after-market company's like partsunlimited, lp "lockhart Phillips", and maybe tucker rocky street, at a better price but you may have to buy some parts extra it may not come in a complete kit like the factory offers.

Hi what psi should a 1999 r6 fuel pump be

The fuel pump on a 1999 Yamaha YZF-R6 motorcycle should operate at a pressure of approximately 43-47 PSI (pounds per square inch). This is the standard fuel pressure for most Yamaha motorcycles.
If you are experiencing fuel starvation issues with your R6, it's possible that the fuel pump may not be operating at the correct pressure. This could be due to a variety of factors, such as a malfunctioning fuel pump, a clogged fuel filter, or a problem with the fuel lines.
To check the fuel pressure on your R6, you will need a fuel pressure gauge. You can purchase a fuel pressure gauge at an auto parts store or online. To use the gauge, connect it to the fuel system using the appropriate adapter and hose, and then start the engine. The gauge should indicate the fuel pressure while the engine is running.
If the fuel pressure is not within the normal range (43-47 PSI), it's possible that you may need to replace the fuel pump. You can use an aftermarket fuel pump if you prefer, but it's important to make sure that the pump is compatible with your R6 and meets the necessary specifications.
