Take off your side cover and hook the positive lead of the battery charger to the starter solenoid on the battery side and put the negative clip of the charger on the frame.

Car dead but battery good

Check your alternator, and your battery.

A battery, non running, should register slightly over 12 volts DC, when the engine is running, it should register slightly over 15. If it doesn't, then it is an issue with your alternator. If it does, and after boosting and running the car, you turn it off, come back after a few hours and its dead, then your battery is more than likely pooched.

Dead battery boost

The battery is probably exhausted as they do not like to be completely flat and hate high current charges.

My key was stuck in the ignition, disconnected the battery to keep it from going dead. Now have the key released, but key will not open the trunk to reconnect the battery and rear seat release is in...

There should be. look on the top back side of the seat where it meets with the back dash from one side to the other. it may also be on either side of the seats next to the door jams.btw, the key getting stuck like it did sometimes indicates that the ignition switch may be going bad or a bad battery if you have anti theft.

I had a dead battery last night, I boosted the battery and now the altinator is not charging. Is there a fuse or a relay that might have blown?

Boosting a dead battery is an unsafe act

You always attempt to charge with a battery charger

Can not charge a dead battery with alternator either

Unless it is 2 years old I would replace it

Hi, i have this remote. it works on my tv before. but now it doesn't wprk any more. please help?

Hello, Thank You for visiting!

Allow US to help you with your remote issue.

Many times batteries cause this issue, over time the buttons often get stuck and cause the rmeote to jam. What this means is more then one of the Button pads might be pushed in causing the remote to JAM and not function.

You can take a phillips screw driver open up the unit and clan the button pads, you also can make sure your using good batteries as well.

Many cases with these universal remotes or, original remote the pads under the buttons get jammed or dirty. A remote generally does not just die. There are many causes. Allowing a dead battery sit over time on a remote can wear down the connections on the remote. Make sure you clean these battery connections, Make sure you flex the spring inside and make sure the battery is seated in the correct position.

Driver side power seat front to back motor stuck forward

Take apart the drive box in front of seat track, on both sides with an allen wrench. You can then push the seat to get at the bolts to remove it. My trolley drive motor had bad brushes. I am now looking to replace the motor, if I can find the replacement.

My 2003 Buick Regal is completely dead. My son is borrowing it and the moonroof got stuck open with headliner cover jammed into the roof. Now the entire car is locked up. Can't get keys out, no dash...

My son called a Buick dealer and they told him that it is very common for Buicks to go dead quite suddenly and completely when the battery goes out. He charged the battery and all seems to be well, so far. Still having trouble with the moonroof being stuck, but that's a separate problem apparently. Thank you.
