Fill your clutch fluid reservoir with DOT3/4 brake fluid and bleed the hydraulic clutch system. If it will not stay bled and there are no leaks, take apart the clutch slave cylinder, pull out the piston, carefully remove the piston o-ring seal , and clean the corrosion out of the ring groove and reassemble with new seal. Bleed the system again and you should have your clutch back again.

Starts in neutral w/ kickstand up, dies when put in gear. NOT Kickstand Switch

it sounds like the clutch is dragging, either it is not adjusted properly or the clutch friction or metal plates are warped and acting like wave washers.you should have about 2mm of free play at the end of the clutch lever when its not being pulled in.also too thick an oil in the engine in it like 20/50 it should be using 10w 40 semi synthetic oil.does it try to pull forwards with the clutch in slightly when you put it in gear ?

Electrical issue: bike thinks clutch is still engaged and kills motor when not in neutral
Is the clutch switch properly connected and working? Is it adjusted properly? Use a multimeter to read resistance across switch contacts does it change state when clutch is pulled in?

What's your problem?1995 yamaha virago 1100 that sometimes you you put into gear and immediately dies

The Clutch on some bikes will disengage the starter motor. Yamaha will not allow you to engage gear when the side stand is down. Hope this gives you some idea

On my 72 cb100 when I pull the clutch in, the bike dies while idling. It runs fine while getting gas, but does not run at idle. It will start right back up when it does die. Any ideas?

The slow circuit of the carburetor is dirty. Take the carburetor off and remove the slow and main jets. Shoot carburetor cleaner through the jets and through the passageways of the carburetor body to be sure that it is clear. Does the bike die when you pull in the clutch and put it into gear? If it dies when you put it in to gear , you may have clutch plates that are stuck together. Take off the engine side cover, remove the clutch springs, pull out the clutch boss and the clutch plates. Carefully separate the plates, replace any damaged plates, coat the plates with oil and put them back in the same order. This should make the clutch act normally again.

Proper clutch ajustment, bike realy clunks hard when first putting it in gear

The clunking has nothing to do with proper clutch adjustment. What is happening is normal for Harley, they have a very loud gearbox.
I can suggest a way to minimise this, especialy when the bike is cold, and you put it in first 1st for the first time. Just before you do, prime, or pump the clutch lever a few times, even pull the lever in, and hold it in for a few seconds. This usualy frees up any sticky clutch plates, and gets the clutch working properly.

'06 vtx 1300 c : engine dies when put into gear

You have one of two things going on. (1) You need to check the kick stand switch, your bike thinks the kick stand is still down. It may have been loosened out of adjustment by vibration. If the kick stand switch is out of whack, it will restart as long as the clutch in pulled in. But as soon as you try to let out the clutch it will kill the engine, if it is in gear. (2) Next problem could be, you need to loosen up the clutch cable a little bit, The clutch control on the handle bar has a screw type of adjuster (clutch cable passes through it ), try loosening it till it's easy for you to move the bike without the engine shutting off. Hope it helps and comment if you need more clarification.
