depends on what type of clutch meaning with or without slave cylinder. if with, slave cylinder could be bad or out of fluid. if without, throwout bearing and possibly fork could be damaged.

1984 harley fxr clutch won't disengage

Hi Anonymous, and the usual suspects are:
1. Clutch controls improperly adjusted.
2. Lubricant level too high in primary chaincase.
3. Primary chain badly misaligned.
4. Clutch discs warpped or rust bound.
5. Insufficient clutch spring tension.

Pull on clutch lever soft, transmission won't shif gears (ingage/disengage) reservoir was low, so i filled it, lever still soft, does get firmer but not what should be, still won't change gears

Sounds like you have air in the clutch line, you will have to bleed the air out, it maybe the clutch slave cylinder seal is leaking, CAN YOU SELECT ALL THE GEARS WHILE THE ENGINE IS NOT RUNNING?

Have a 2001 honda accord just replaced master clutch cylinder and slave cylinder and clutch won't disengage. what could be the problem.

Did you bleed the clutch hydraulic system after you replaced the parts? It requires bleeding just like the brake system does.

My serger won't start. Motor is running but won't turn. Also wheel wont turn

Hi, On most of these newer machines they have a clutch that you engage to fill the bobins.
Please make sure that the clutch is disengaged for normal use. If this is all OK see that belt
is attached on motor.
