No good news here , Honda's have been cold blooded since the beginning of time. Turn the fuel on, FULL choke, If your carburetors have a fuel pump 2 or 3 twists of the throttle when not cranking, now hit the starter button. Honda's will often start easier if you leave the fuel ON when not riding. Always turn your fuel OFF when not riding so you do not risk flooding the engine with gasoline from a stuck float needle (it can happen even with new motorcycles).

Why is my truck hard to start on cold mornings

When you park your truk at night, the engine is warm/hot.Now its start to cool down.In doing so,condensation collects under the hood and around the cooling off engine. The condensation freezes, making everything wet, including the wires.Tht's why its hard to start in the morning.
Trick is: when engine is parked and off, place a heavy blanket over the engine, close the hood. The blanket will absorb any condensation.Just remember to remove the blanket in the morning before you start the engine. 25283814-gdc3ufgmlwaqnv2deqjxyac2-4-0.jpg

I find it hard to start my l 200 after running several minutes.i could start it in the morning after I on the switch what ,s the problem.

May just be a bad temperature sending unit. Once warmed up, it's supposed to go off cold start, which puts more fuel to the engine. If sending unit is not telling the computer the engine is warm, it will still be putting more fuel into the engine and flooding it, making it hard to start. Check/replace said sending unit and you're good.

Is there a steering column security system doesn't allow starts on cold mornings?

I posted some information about your security system on the other question that you posted where you mentioned the pellet in the key on your older vehicle.

Let me ask you this: Does the starter not crank the engine when you are experiencing this difficulty? Or is the starter cranking the engine and it just won't start?

The reason I ask is because if the starter cranks and your problem only occurs on cold mornings, the problem is most likely to be caused by a malfunctioning Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor.

In any case, you should scan your computer network for possible fault codes to begin any diagnosis of either your engine control system or your security system (Unless you really like wasting your hard-earned cash trying to "GUESS" what is wrong).

Does the 2002 regal have a cold motor sensor Car hard to start when cold motor (in the morning )

Your vehicle uses the coolant temp sensor and the intake air temp sensor to determine the engines temperature on a cold start. If one of them is dramatically different than the other it will flag a code.

Is the check engine light on?

When was the last time you had a tune-up? if recently what brand of plugs where used?

Have you noticed any hard start issues after a hot soak? A hot soak would be driving the car until fully warmed up, shutting of the engine for approximately 15 to 20 minutes, and then starting the engine again.

Hard to start on cold mornings but starts fine when warm

The cold start valve is not operating correctly. Either the engine coolant temperature sensor is bad or the cold start valve itself is bad. You can check the engine coolant temperature sensor by going to radio shack or any electronic store and purchase a 15k ohm or higher resistor. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor (ECTS) harness. Bridge the 2 female spade connections in the harness with the resistor. Start the engine. If the engine starts you need to replace the ECTS. If the engine is still hard to start, you need to remove the cold start valve, (wear safety goggles, and whatever you do don't smoke) place the cold start valve in a glass and have someone crank the engine. You should see gas coming out from the cold start valve. If not take a ohm meter and measure the terminal at the cold start valve after disconnecting the wire harness. The meter should read 25 ohms. If it doesn't replace the cold start valve.

Why does my jeep have a hard time starting in the mornings when its cold out (35 to 40 degrees)it has a new tune up, 120,000 miles and a 4cyl engine

My guess would be the battery. When was the last time it was replaced or serviced.
Batteries are rated in CCA (Cold Cranking Amps). When it is cold out the battery has to work harder to start the Jeep, in addition to battery having lower Amperage.
So your battery might not have enough CCAs to turn the Jeep over on those cold mornings.
