Question about 1982 Honda GL 1100 Gold Wing
Yes , the Goldwing valves are easily adjusted by taking off the valve covers. On the top left back of the motor is an engine cap that if removed will tell you the top dead center for the cylinders . T-1 position , loose valves on front right cylinder (number 1) TDC compression stroke.
cylinder number intake valve exhaust valve
1 A A
2 B B
3 B A
4 A B
A= Adjust with cylinder 1 at TDC at compression stroke.
B= Adjust with cylinder 1 at TDC at exhaust stroke
Valve tolerance for all valves is 0.004 in ( 0.1 mm) with a feeler gauge
