I am assuming you have a 3.1 v6 engine the spark plugs are 3 right in the front next to the oil dipstick and above the exhaust manifold you can follow the wires from the coil to find each plug. The other 3 are on the back side of the engine and can be difficult to get to. Easiest way is to remove the upper engine mounts and tilt the engine forward a few inches with a ratchet strap or something to gain clearance. MAKE SURE it is secure because your arms will be back there. And those three plugs are in the same location as others just on the opposite side of the engine.again just follow spark plug wires down to the plug.
spark plugs, plug wires, distributer cap, rotor, pcv, and air filter to do complete tune up,the fuel filter is located in the tank and does not need to be replaced
It depends how far you want to go. usually a tune up consists of an oil change, oil filter included, air filter change, and tire check and rotation. But a tune up could also include spark plug check and replacement/upgrade, spark plug wire replacement/upgrade, coolant flush, or even a transmission flush. It all depends on how far you want to go
SPARK PLUGS IN THE CYLINDER HEAD.FOLLOW SPARK PLUGS WIRES.THEY WILL LEAD YOU TO THEM.BE SURE CHANGE PLUG WIRES DISTRIBUTOR CAP AND ROTOR IF EQUIPPED.SOME MODELS HAD DISTRIBUTORLESS IGNITION SYSTEM.
If you can't find them, are you sure you want to do it? They are under the cover between your valve cover. Should unbolt, then reveal either 2 coils and 2 wires, or 4 coils depending on which set up they used.
your spark plugs are located under a ignition module in center of engine it says ecoteck on it there are( 4 )10 mm (size wrench u need ) holding the cap down and there is also a electrical connector on on end u mite have to disconnect it.pry gently up on mpoduel and you will see the plugs down in tubes ,hope this helps
unless you have a specific issue with the plugs , don't waste your money changing them
the v6 engine has the rear plugs as platinum plugs because it is near impossible to change them and modern engines
( manufacturer design fault in the location of the engine and so they fitted special plugs before installing the engine )
plugs last the life of the engine
if you are doing a "tune up" that is a waste of money as the ECM tunes the engine 60 times a minute
all you have to do for a "tune up" is to have the fault codes read for sensor problems
