When you tilted the bike is it possible the the oil got past the seal on the starter and filled the starter with oil . I would put power directly to the starter (jump the solenoid). If it turns over you have a bad solenoid. If the starter does not turn over , take the starter off and remove the end cap to see if it full of oil. You can try cleaning it , replacing the brushes, and replace the seal (if available) or replace the starter assembly.

Turns over once then stops hard with a loud bang. whats wrong with my bike?

Hi, Ronnie and the usual suspects are:
1. Fuel tank empty.
2. Fuel supply valve/petcock turned off.
3. Fouled spark plugs.
4. Engine flooded as a result of overuse of the enricher.
5. Vacuum hose to the fuel supply valve/petcock disconnected, broken, cracked, or pinched.
6. Fuel valve/petcock or filter clogged.
7. Severely discharged or damaged battery, you need 12.5 volts or better and be able to pass a load test if necessary.
8. Check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
9. Loose or corroded wire connection at the coil, battery or plug between ignition sensor and module.
10.. Spark plug cables in bad condition and shorting, cable connections loose, or connected to the wrong cylinders.
11. Ignition timing incorrect due to a faulty ignition coil, ignition module or sensors (MAP, CMP, CKP, O2, TPS, ETP, IAC,or BAS).
12. Faulty neutral, clutch lever, or kickstand safety switch.
13. Faulty fuel pump fuse or relay.
14. Tilt sensor needs a reset.
15. Security system not disarming alarm needs a reset.

Sputtered for a few days, but now won't start at all. Where should I start?

You should have had it properly diagnosed & all
issues resolved six months ago,now you may have
issues you can't afford to repair.

You obviously need professional help from a repair
shop & soon

Do you think 16oz of anything in 16 gallons of gas,
would do anything other than take your money,NO

Hi!!!!! i have an kawasaki zx6r 1998 and it dosent want to start , i started it 2 days ago, but today it dosent want i charged battery, and when i push start button it dosent do nothing, i checked coil...

Check the clutch, neutral and side stand safety interlocks.
Double check that the bike is in neutral, and the clutch is pulled in when trying to start the bike.
If the bike is in gear with the side stand down, the bike cuts off all ignition.
If the clutch isn't pulled in, the starter won't engage.
Check all these safety interlock switches, and make sure you are in neutral with the clutch in when trying to start the bike.

'04 Kymco Venox won't start. Bought it a few months ago from someone w. about 20,000 miles on it. Always runs good/never had a problem w. it 'til yesterday. Ran outta gas on the road...put more...

Hi Mrcherry99, for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service department and inquire about any possible quick fix. If necessary transport your vehicle to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if possible, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your issue. Good luck and have a nice day.

Bike tipped over and now wont start. 1998 honda intercepter .

first make sure bike is in upright position then turn key off then back on and try to start the bike. sometimes you have to turn the key on,off,on,off,on and start the bike. this will reset you tilt sensor ( properly known as lean angle sensor). if the bike still doesn't start you probably need a new tilt sensor unless you bypass it.

Wont fire turns over faster than normal

if you still havent started the bike yet from sitting.then i dont think the choke has anything to do with your problem.but ether way take the plugs out.I think your piston rings are frozen from sitting.did u winterrize it?with the plugs out pour a little auto trans fluid in each cylinder.very little.now crank the bike over to coat the cylinders. becareful it could be messy now let the bike sit overnight.the next day crank bike over again.but this time for a few tries.then install fresh plugs.and try to start it.p.s there will be white smoke from the transmission fluid. that will go away in a couple of minutes.then all should be good.
