Question about 2008 Harley Davidson FLHX Street Glide
Some bikes with after-market fairings have sloppy workmanship when it comes to extending the wiring out to the fairing. You may be suffering from this condition. Open the fairing enough to check the wiring--when two wires are just twisted together and taped, they will not stay together. Try tugging at any joints you find to see if they pull apart easily. Crimped **** splices are best and don't need to be taped. Check the back of the gauge for loose connections as well. Hope this helps!
