Question about 2002 Yamaha TDM 900

1 Answer

I own a 2005 TDM model and unexpectedly a ten cm. air bubble formed under the paint of the Rev counter, and spoiled it's appearance. The gadget never got wet and I have to change the whole unit because of this mishap. Can someone give me a good advice to solve this problem without spending great money?

Paint bubbles on drywall

It's been almost 10 months since the question was posted so how does it look? Most bubbles appear under the drywall tape or could be from primer / paint being rolled over drywall dust. Tape bubbles don't go away. These need repaired by cutting out the bubbled tape and filling in with compound. Tape bubbles can be avoided by using a TapeBuddy taping tool. This tool applies compound directly to the tape so there are no dry spots under the tape. Hope this helps.

Spraying kitchen cabinet doors 40 degree weather airless graco sprayer enamel water base paint at first finish is great then bubbles start to form

first problem is the waterbase paints ( ****) the other is how did you mix your paint , you cam trap air in the paint if you padle or stired it without a shaker mixer air will gas out of the paint, tofix this use a foam brush to flaten air bubbles

On my 2005 Crossfire the paint is bubbling on the deployable spoiler. Is this covered under a corrosion warranty?

NO,but it is normal for the paint to bubble on some plastic trims due to their makeup/type of plastic.the corrosion warranty is not worth the paper you use in the toilet...."applicable only if the paint surface is not broken and rust has taken place under the surface of the paint layers"(how do you know if its rust without breaking the surface to see.........)

Paint problem on 2009 infiniti G37

This is spotting from the plastic they use to protect the paint!!! Ha when they apply the plastic it sometimes has air trapped under plastic a bit like a bubble under tape, the sun bakes the gases out of the plastic and it stains the darker painted cars. Good luck and tell them this when they try to blow u off.

2005 nissan altima 2.5 liter heating problem. car will not heat when ideling only when i drive it or rev it up.dealership said it was a air pocket in the radiator took it home next day same problem. it has...

Do you hear a sloshing noise coming from your glove compartment? If so, they did not completely remove tha air pocket. I had the same problem. Jacked up the front of my car and started the motor. Removed the radiator cap while still cool, and topped of the coolant. Then as the motor warmed up, the air bubbled out of the radiator. Once the bubbling stopped, reinstalled the cap and all is good.
