Hi
Insert a new or deflated inner tube inside the tank behind the dent & inflate. This will not work if there is a crease
If creased its easiest to fill & repaint it
Suction cups can pull out shallow dents
Otherwise braise a rod onto deepest part of dent & pull, cut off rod, smooth & repaint

Engine paint can be removed by painting Nitromores or similar stripper on then scrape of & be sure to rinse well
Bead-blasting is the best way but you have to remove the engine

I cant recommend a service centre in Mumbai as I haven't been there for years, I live in London UK

Peeling paint on cinderblock walls in basement

Just a guess, but it is likely that moisture is causing the paint to peel. I suggest you remove as much peeling as you can with a wire brush and then use a waterproof sealant. I had very good luck with a product they sell to seal cement walls in basements with moisture problems.

2000 fatboy peeling inside of gas tank

Hi Sharon, This is definately a warranty issue, don't let the dealer double talk you into nothing less than total satisfaction. The way I see it you have a few options, 1. Replace your custom paint job with a different one. 2. Fix the peeling problem no matter what it takes keeping your original paint job. 3. Contact the Motor Company directly and ask them why your dealer can't rectify the problem to your satisfaction. For more information about your question please visit the websites below. Good luck and have nice day.

I have a johnsen red 2150, will only stay running with the choke half pulled, if i don;t have choke pulled she'll die when i give it gas.

check your fuel filter in tank, these have a problem with the paint peeling off the inside of fuel tank so filter may be plugged. next I would remove and clean carb and check the fuel lines, also check the exhaust screen too

Trying to drain my gas tank. where is the drain?

there is no drain, just the gas valve to the carbs, remove that valve to drain the tank, do not get any gas on the paint or engine, it will damage the paint very quickly, I strongly suggest u remove the tank or syphon the gas out of it

A small dent in the fuel tank

Hello,
Depending on the size of the dent, it is possible to remove it by a couple of ways.
One way it can be done is with a suction dent puller. It is usually used on cars to remove hail damage and door dings. Some auto parts stores carry them in stock.
Another way is to use an air compressor to "blow out" the dent. You will need to drain the fuel first, then close the supply petcock once the tank is empty. If possible, remove the petcock and seal the opening. Too much air pressure can blow out the diaphram in the petcock. You can pressurize the tank with the petcock installed, just be very careful.
Then seal off the filler opening using a heavy rag wrapped around the air nozzle. Be sure the compressor pressure is around 50-60 psi and work your way up to 100-120 psi.
This method is crude, but will work most of the time.
Hope this helps

Paint inside lid peeling off when I cook

From Weber.com Don’t worry, it’s not paint. The inside surfaces of our grill lids are not painted, they are coated with baked-on porcelain enamel which cannot peel. What you are noticing is a deposit of grease and smoke that collects during normal use. During use, the grease and smoke vapors slowly oxidize into carbon and collect on the inside of your lid. This deposit will eventually peel, and looks very similar to paint. The peeling normally starts in the center of the lid and spreads outward. It may come off in sheets or flakes, and is shiny on one side and dull on the other. These carbon deposits are non-toxic. But you might want to regularly remove the build-up. Fortunately, the peeling is easy to remove. Simply brush off all loose particles with a brass brush before you start grilling. To prevent future build-up, after every grilling session, while the grill lid is warm—not hot—wipe it with paper towels or a mild soap-and-water solution.
