Sounds like the low speed circuit in the carb is pluged up with some trash (dried gas). You need to take apart carbs and clean all jets and passages.Small jet is the pilot jet. Hope this helps

Messed up carburetor

Start out with both screws at 1-1/2 run saw full throttle and adj. screw closest to air filter, which should be "H" screw it in slowly till you reach max rpm's then reverese the screw just till it starts to slow down, keep in mind don't take forever to do this cause you don't want it running lean (max rpm's) because it will COOK in no time! After you have the high speed set let saw Idle, then accelerate quickly, if it bogs turn the "L"" clockwise little at a time reving it each time, till you get the bog worked, then when acceleration sounds quite responsive then go back to H speed and readjust it, open it up some and run it wide open and readadjust H speed to where it just drops off on rpms on the rich side not lean side, righty (leany)...Lefty Richy ! Good luck

The dishwasher does not drain, i just replace my garbage disposal and now the dishwasher does not drain, i did reconnect the dishwasher drain hose to the garbage disposal

Hello, Welcome to FixYa. I just came accross your post and immediately I thought, " drain plug in garb not punched out" this is very common when a new garb or dishwasher is installed..so much If I had a dollar for every one I saw or heard about I could be paid a couple of trip charges. If you haven't already done so, remove the drain hose from the garb and knock out the stop inside the spout. See your installation guide/owners manual ( for the garb/disposer ) if you still have it, that should show you "where" and "how". Let me know either way and I'll help further if necessary. Regards, Macmarkus :)

Bike wont go past 10,000 rpms. power just shuts out.

These bikes have rev limiters to keep you from blowing the motor. they are supposed to do just that, shut power off if you rev the engine too hard. Usually it cuts out and re-starts very rapidly and you get sort of a Vroom, Vroom , Vroom sound that lets you know you are reving it too much. If you continue to push the motor it will shut power off. 10,000 rpm is a lot of rpm and this could cause major issues with the motor. you don't want a piston to come loose at this rpm!

My 426 doesnt idle smoothly. have to keep it reving to stop it stalling. have tried adjusting the idle screw, runs fine apart from the idle...

Replace Gold idle screw on the carb and then keep turning it clockwise till its revving high, Then slowly do it anti clockwise till its idling at a low RPM which you feel right or/and defined in the owners manual.

200 Pontiac Grand Am over 3500 RPM loss of power

on almost all gm cars after 96 the engines were governed to not free rev over 4000rpm. when in gear and power braking the rpms stay lower cause of the load on engine. when reving above 3500 rpms the computer cuts back the timing and fuel to reduce engine damage if left to free rev. hop that helps.

My transmisson makes a weezing sound when im at low speed

You sure its the transmission? Wheezing sound is usually the catylitic converter becoming plugged. Also...at 3-5K rpm you are not idling, you are reving the engine...(in that case, trans may be slipping or flairing between shifts, unless the unit is staying in one gear and just delaying shift till you reach that rpm. actual shift point should be close to 2,000rpm) I'd check the cat first.
