The fuel lines [2] connect to the fuel rails behind the distributor. There are quick connect fittings and are under pressure and should be relieved before disconnecting. also battery should be disconnected.

Does 1996 chevy biazer fuel regulator have 2 lines hooked up to it

I am assuming it is a V8 engine. It should have a fuel pressure line, a fuel return line, and a vacuum line hooked to it.

Hi, Where does the fuel line meet the engine on a 2001 1.3 ford KA? I can't find it Thanks

If you can find the fuel rail where you will also find the injector. the fuel line will be hooked up to that line and go all the way to the tank, good luck.

1986 nissan pickup z24i. will run when spray start fluid but wont stay running. just installed the engine

Did you hook all the lines for the fuel pump up when the engine was re-installed? It is definitely a fuel issue. Disconnect the fuel line and crank over the engine to check for fuel supply.

Runs rough poor gas milage

There is a fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail, and thats where the fuel return line hooks to. On that fuel pressure regulator is a vacuum line. Pull that vacuum line off the regulator and see if it is wet inside with gasoline. If it is not, and its dry, hook it back up. If it DOES have gas in the vacuum line, then there is a hole in the regulator diaphragm and the regulator needs replacing - simple task and $25-$100 depending on which one they used on your model truck. If this IS the issue - It is critical you replace the engine oil and filter , then again after 10 to 20 miles to get the gasoline our of the crankcase. Very important to engine life.

If not the above, then check to see if your oxygen sensor is functioning properly. They should be replaced every 60k miles.

Wont start has fire at plugs

need to determine if the fuel pump is working. i would pull the line before the filter, have the fuel line in a gas jug or bucket and let someone crank it, if fuel comes out, I would hook the line back up and pull the fuel line after the filter, do the same with the filter, if fuel comes out then I would pull the line at the engine. hope this helps tim

What is the range that the fuel lines should have when hooking up a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel lines on a 2001 chevy s-10 ZR 2

You want to make sure you are hooked up to the pressure line. This is the larger of the two lines. Depending on the engine pressure is in the vicenity of 29-36 psi or can be 9-13 psi. The fuel pump is in the tank and these trucks have wiring issues.
What is your exact problem?

Repair/Replace 1994 Isuzu Rodeo Fuel Line

Is the line plastic or steel? They make repair kits for plastic lines, if you can find them. They are hard to find. If it is a steel line, you can go to the parts store and buy a pressure fitting. Cut the line and put the pressure fitting on. If it is the end of the lines, where they hook together or hook to fuel filter, it could be bad O-rings. Need more info.

1993 toyota pickup

Hi! The fuel return hose is the rubber hose that comes from the side of the fuel pressure regulator, the metal thing on the pass side of the engine fuel rail; it screws into the fuel rail, and has a vacuum line at the top, and a big tube sticking out of the side. The rubber line then connects to a metal line, which runs towards the back of the engine. Repost if you need more info.
