Bike been stood for a while, starts no problem but fuel comes out of the rubber pipes at the top of the carbs were the diaphram is

it may just be sticky flotes or you may need to change the fule pipes as they could have rotted away
turn on the fule and try tapping the carbs to see if it stops leeking fule out the carbs but dont hit the carbs very hard just tap them! if it stops the fule leek strip carbs and clean the flote needels so they can move freely

How do you attach the fuel filter inside of the gas tank in a 2050 poulan chainsaw

it normaly just pushes into the pick up pipe in the tank its quite heavy to keep it in the fule when the saw is on its side,, what you do it undo the fule tank top and hook the fule pipe till you can get a hold of the filter,, pull the old one off and push the new one on the pipe, job done,,,
not as easy as it sounds though!

No fuel to the plug. only starts with starter fluid n runs for a second. dry plug

start by cleaning all the fule lines and pipes out look at the fule tap in the tank it may have a blocked filter on it,then blow trough all the lines right back into the fule tank if fule is reaching the card strip the carb and clean out all the jets plus the flote bowl your bike is not getting any fule

I have a suzuki 4 wheeler 1998 It doesnt get enough fuel to run i think it has a fuel pump that operates off of engine vacuum I took it apart and it looks ok.Any ideas?maybe not enough engine vacuum? tks...

have a look at the fule pipes from the fule tank if there slightly blocked the pump wont pull any fule through them pull the pipes off and blow them all out with comprest air (not the pump) you may have looked at the pump and it may look fine but the fule pump may still need an overhall to get it in full working order

The engine turns over. There is a spark. How do I tell if the fuel pump is pumping gas into the engine. I put at least 7 gallons of fuel into my 1992 Dodge grand caravan

Hi:
You can do some basic tests to check for fuel. A simple one is to take off the gas cap, and have someone listen for the pump to run for a few seconds when the key is turned on. you can also remove your fuel filter or check for fuel pressure with a fuel pressure guage too. Often you can get a guage loaned to you from the auto parts store, for just a deposit.

# carb not getting fuel

drain your fule tank to nearly empty if you can,, if not pull fule pipe off cards and blow hard up fule pipe into tank, (with fule tap open) you should here bubbles in the tank,,if not its the tank fule tap or filter,,,,if you do here bubbles and fule runs freely from pipe when fule tap is turned on the problem is in the card its the flote neadle stuck,, strip card and clean it all out,, dont poke wire into any jets,, you will only do more harm than good, take your time and put it all back as you took it apart

The engine will not run unless you pour gas in the carb. It ran before i charged the fuel line which was rotted off. It is 2 cycle blower vacuum and i do not have the model nomber handy

its that new fule line you put in,,,its not letting any fule down to the carb you have proved there is nothing wrong with the engine, by tipping fule into the carb,,,,
have another go at fitting the new fule line,,, rember to put on the fule filter on the end that gos inside the fule tank if its not on it the pipe will not lay in the fule tank right and wont pick up any fule out the tank,,,
i bet thats were you went wrong?
