Can you show me 99 Durango gaskets from top of engine going down ??

I'm sorry, but I can't provide visual images or diagrams. However, I can describe the general order of gaskets in a 1999 Dodge Durango engine from the top going down:
  1. Valve Cover Gaskets: These gaskets are located on top of the cylinder heads and seal the valve covers. They help prevent oil leaks from the top of the engine.
  2. Intake Manifold Gasket: The intake manifold gasket seals the connection between the intake manifold and the cylinder heads. It helps maintain proper air-fuel mixture and prevents vacuum leaks.
  3. Throttle Body Gasket: If equipped, the throttle body gasket seals the connection between the throttle body and the intake manifold. It ensures proper airflow into the engine.
  4. Exhaust Manifold Gaskets: These gaskets are located between the exhaust manifold and the cylinder heads. They seal the exhaust gases and prevent leaks.
  5. Head Gaskets: The head gaskets are situated between the cylinder heads and the engine block. They seal the combustion chambers and coolant passages.
  6. Oil Pan Gasket: The oil pan gasket is located at the bottom of the engine and seals the oil pan to the engine block. It prevents oil leaks from the oil pan.
  7. Front and Rear Main Seals: These seals are located at the front and rear of the engine crankshaft. They prevent oil leaks where the crankshaft exits the engine block.
  8. Timing Cover Gasket: If equipped, the timing cover gasket seals the timing chain or belt cover to the engine block. It helps protect the timing components and prevents oil leaks.

Oil leak 3.4 liter chevy venture motor

Oil dripping off the front of the engine of a 3.4 liter Chevy Venture motor could be caused by several issues. The wire that you mentioned may be the oil pressure switch wire, which is located near the oil filter. Here are a few possibilities:

Valve cover gasket leak: The valve cover gasket seals the valve cover to the top of the engine and prevents oil leaks. Over time, the gasket can become brittle and crack, causing oil to leak out. Check the valve cover gasket for signs of damage or wear.

Oil pan gasket leak: The oil pan is located at the bottom of the engine and contains the engine oil. The oil pan gasket seals the oil pan to the bottom of the engine and prevents oil leaks. Check the oil pan gasket for signs of damage or wear.

Oil filter leak: The oil filter screws onto an adapter that is located on the engine block. If the filter is not installed properly or if the gasket on the filter is damaged, it can cause oil to leak out. Check the oil filter and adapter for signs of damage or wear.

Front crankshaft seal leak: The front crankshaft seal is located at the front of the engine and prevents oil from leaking out of the crankshaft. If the seal is damaged or worn, it can cause oil to leak out. Check the front crankshaft seal for signs of damage or wear.

I recommend having a qualified mechanic diagnose the source of the oil leak to ensure proper repair. They can inspect the engine and identify the exact location of the leak

Got oil leak 97 f150 top front of engine oil on alternator drip down to bottom

Various seals & gaskets will inevitable leak. Gen, they do not affect engine operation & will not damage engine. Simply keep ample oil supply in engine. Then the solution to oil leak problem is installation of an ''ENGINE DIAPER" device that catches, absorbs, and keep oil leak off ground surfaces. See www.oildiaper.com for info & purchase of an "ENGINE DIAPER".

Front oil seal leak

never guess here.
oil leaks,
no engine stated, nor year, so you wont get good advice.
mines a v6 2.5L
on most suz engines, front leaks can be.
1: top front of valve cover seal. leaks. then gravity does its thing.
2: top cap seal
3: bottom seal
4: pan seal,
5: pump seals.
doing all on a guess. is $$$$$$$$
what we do is clean it all , run for 10 miles, and see what really leaks.
or
use the UV dye kit. and find it.
you have gravity and air currents that form a chaos. there.
so only those 2 work.

Oil leak front engine timing chan

1995 Tracker would have a timing BELT. Normal oil leak points (in order) on a Suzuki G16 engine are the distributor base (rear of motor), valve cover (top of motor), front main seal (behind lower timing belt cog) cam seal (behind the upper timing belt cog) and rear main seal. (behind the flywheel). I'd suspect the front main seal or cam seal. I use foot power to help find oil leaks.

Hi i have a 1994 dodge caravan it is leaking oil can this be fix im worry that we would have to save money for a van for my kids thanks

The Chrysler minivan products all had leaking problems. I have had 5 or 6 different Dodge or Plymouth minivans from 88 to 99. How bad is it. The most common thing is Valve cover leaks. Front and rear seals in the engine leak as well as the oil pan gasket. If its leaking a little bit at a time open the hood and look at the front and rear of the engine. Do you see grease and oil that has gone down the sides of the engine? Do you see a lot of grease on the engine with some clean streaks going through it. You may be able to see where its leaking from. If you know someone that knows what their doing have them change the leaky gasket/s. If not you can probably have it repaired for less than buying another van unless other things are seriously wrong with the van.
Hope this helps... Dale

The transmission is leaking in front and middle of the engine. What is the problem and how can I fix it

could be your gearbox seals.Check if the front one is gearbox oil or engine oil.If it is engine oil then could be your rocker cover seals..oil from the top travelling down, sump gaskits or crank shaft seals. The direction of travels pushes oil towards the rear and sometimes we think that the leak is on the rear somewhere whereas it could be in the front.

I have a 1995 lumina with the 3.4L engine. I have a slight oil leak and from the looks of the bottom of the car it has been leaking for quite a while. I just bought the car so i wouldnt know. But the oil...

SERIOULSY!!!!! first, go to a car wash, steam clean/ shampoo the entire engine (taking care to avoid directly spraying electricl components/distributor) then drive for about 10 km (6 miles) and look underneath the hood and see where the oil is possibley leaking from. Remeber, oil can leak down from the top and make somethine below it look as though that is where the oil is coming from. Also, the fan air can blow the oil from front to back making the oil drip from all over.
Possible places that oil leaks come front: top = valve cover. front = cam shaft or crank shaft seal if from the rear = could be rear main seal.

Anti-freeze leak

If it's leaking at the top of the engine down. Look at the top of the engine at the front and you'll see a bleeder valve on top a black housing. These housings like to come apart at the glued seams. If it's leaking at the lower part of the engine towards the front, it could be your water pump leaking. Check your oil and if you see the color of the oil looking like chocolate milk, your water pump needs replaced, the oil will need changing as well. Do a coolant system pressure test and see if your hoses somewhere are leaking. Also check for your surge tank leaking. This is the tank that you put coolant into.
