First be aware the fuel pump only receives power when the engine is cranking during start up, otherwise it is shut off in about 1 second.

2005 softail efi fuel pump not working fuses good can hear relay click in and out but no pump sound only 6000 miles

Hi Ken, if you suspect a bad fuel pump relay remove and switch it with the starter relay. Try and crank the engine over if the relay still clicks and your battery is fully charged you need a new relay. Good luck

Does my 95 gmc jimmy hav a emergencie fuel shut off switch

Yes. It's not somthing that's manual in any way tho. It's called an "Inertia relay"
and it's typically located on the drivers side firewall, next to the brake master cylinder. It shuts off the fuel pump when there is an accident or a rollover "impact"
If there is more than one relay there, turn the ignition switch to the run position, then pull and replace "repetidly" the fuel pump fuse. You will hear a clicking noise from the correct relay. Thats IF you are trying to track it down......also, you will need a second person to "feel" the relays to sense the vibration of the click.

Put the run button on and hear a click from the start relay. Hit the start button and nothing at all. Dead silent.

The click you are hearing is not coming from the "starter relay". The starter relay is activated by the "start" button only. The relay you're hearing is from the ECM or the securtiy system and that's what has your bike "dead in the water". I'm sorry but I know nothing about either system.

Good luck
Steve

After riding my turns signals ,head n tail lights

Sounds like the battery is shorted. Heat is one of the worst enemies of any battery. On a Softail it's almost in an oven. The day was hot so the engine oil was hot as well. Since the battery sits inside the "horseshoe" oil tank, it is surrounded by hot oil trying to get rid of the heat.

Take your battery to the nearest auto parts house and have it tested. Usually this is a free service.

Cooling Fan Acting Up

in that it doesn't run like it used to hasn't started up while riding in 95 degree days and after I shut off the bike it may or may not start and sometimes starts a few minutes after I shut it down, at which time it sounds like it is struggling for a few seconds.  The blades spin freely when I spin them manually, and I can't find any troubleshooting procedures in the manual. ,Check the fuse and the temp sensor.,,,
