Look on the left side of your bike between the battery box and the lowest part of the frame. You should see a large hose that simply looks like it plugs onto the frame. Take the clamp off and pull the hose off and your oil drains.

Good Luck

2001 ford windstar oil leak from oil plug

There could be several causes for your leak:
  • Oil plug is loose
  • Oil plug is stripped and can't be tightened
There are some products that will substitute for a bad oil plug. Most repair shops will try to sell you a new oil pan. Sometimes a small gasket around the oil plug will stop the leak as well.

Weed eater 22" mower with

Hi stnstomper...

Look under the mower for a square plug or allen wrench type plug, this will be your oil drain for the motor.
Some of Briggs & Stratton motors do not have an oil drain plug...
If you do not have an oil drain plug then you will have to run the mower to get it warm, then remove the oil fill plug and tip the mower towards the oil fill plug to drain out the oil thru the fill plug hole.

Where is the motor oil drain plug on flxh

This is straight from the repair manual:

1. Ride vehicle until engine is at normal operating temperature.
2. Locate oil filler plug/dipstick on right side of vehicle at top
of transmission case. To remove the oil filler plug, pull
steadily while moving plug back and forth.
3. Locate oil drain plug at front left side of the oil pan.
Remove the oil drain plug and allow oil to drain completely.
4. Inspect the oil drain plug O-ring for cuts, tears or signs of
deterioration. Replace as necessary.
5. Remove the oil filter as follows:
a. Obtain the OIL FILTER WRENCH (HD-42311). The
tool allows easy removal of the oil filter without risk
of damage to the crankshaft position sensor or
cable.
b. Place the jaws of the wrench over the oil filter with
the tool oriented vertically. See Figure 1-1.
c. Using a 3/8 inch drive with a 4 inch extension, turn
wrench in a counterclockwise direction. Do not use
with air tools.
NOTE
Use OIL FILTER WRENCH (HD-44067) if HD-42311 is not
available.
6. Clean the oil filter mount flange of any old gasket material.
7. Lubricate gasket with clean engine oil and install
new
oil
filter on filter mount. Hand tighten oil filter 1/2-3/4 turn
after gasket first contacts filter mounting surface. Do
NOT
use OIL FILTER WRENCH for oil filter installation.
NOTE
Use of the Premium 10 micron synthetic media oil filter is
highly recommended, Part No. 63798-99 (Chrome) or 63731-
99 (Black).
8. Install engine oil drain plug and tighten to 14-21 ft-lbs
(19-28 Nm).
9. With vehicle resting on jiffy stand, add 3-1/2 quarts (3.3
liters) engine oil as specified in Table 1-1. Use the proper
grade of oil for the lowest temperature expected before
the next oil change.

I added oil to my Cadillac and it drained onto the ground

Before adding any more oil, make sure that you have securly replaced and tightened the oil drain plug (which is located on your engine's oil pan, under your car).

When changing spark plugs, I find oil in the thread area. Only one spark plug got this problem, the others are clean. No overheating, no smoking, no oil usage! Maybe valve stem seal is leaking? Vehicle: A3...

it could be that oil has got in to the port where the plug goes when topping the oil up, hence goes on the tread when removing the plug try wiping the hole with the plug out or look down each to c if there is oil in that area, if the oil looks "burnt on th plug" you may have a crack in the head where the plug goes, if you are buning oil it would make the tip of the plug a different colour to the rest,

Change oil filter honda civic 2003

buy new oil filter, oil, and a new drain plug and gasket. the used plug is prone to leakage. remove drain plug and drain in a big enough pan for all the oil. oil filter is located on rear of engine. easier to remove from the bottom of the car. put oil on the seal of the new filter and hand tighten. replace oil plug with new gasket and plug and tighten to 33 foot pound. add oil that is required and start car. when oil light goes out shut car off and check oil add oil as needed.

Number 4 cylinder miss fire

Check your distributor cap & wires first. If all is ok pull the spark plug and check if it's oil fouled. If there is no oil on the plug the plug might be bad. if there is oil on the plug you can get an adaptor that screws over the end of the plug and shields it from getting oil fouled. Of course this is a temporary solution for a piston ring or valve seal problem. I had a caddy I ran with plug shields fo 5 years so they work! Good luck!....PS If your plug is oil fouled you can also use a heavier oil like a 20/50 or use 4 quarts of 10/40 and a quart of lucas oil stabilizer. This will help keep the oil where it belongs and don't forget to do an oil change every 2,500 to 3000 miles.
