Unscrew the head light rim, unplug the head light from the socket, un-clip or unscrew the bulb holder , and remove the bulb from the back of the lens . Replace with new bulb being careful not to touch the glass with your finger. Oil on the bulb can shorten the life of the bulb.

I have a 97 Honda shadow spirit. I have change the thermostat and the fan switch. And the temperature light still is coming on? Water pump is working! Help please

Hi, Lisa you have to isolate the problem is the engine actually overheating or is it a false alarm and just a grounded bulb in the temperature light circuit, normal engine oil temperature is 180-230 degrees, are you low on engine oil, does the cooling system need bleeding and the usual suspects are:
1. Low coolant level.
2. Restricted radiator air flow.
3. Faulty thermostat.
4. Coolant pump or fans inoperative.
5. Vent hose crimped.
6. Air in the coolant.

2005 Honda VT750 Spirit has absolutely no power. No lights, no gauge lights, no head light. Starter does not click. Checked the battery cables and all fuses including the in line 30 amp. All are fine. It...

Did you test the battery voltage to see if its okay? If its fine...test for voltage on both sides of the main fuse...then with key on test for voltage at the fuse block.
If you have no voltage at the fuse block...inspect wiring around ignition switch for damage or try wigging the key in case switch contacts burnt.

Im having trouble with my 2007 honda shadow spirits running lights only one of the oranges ones work now and my brake light running light just stopped working

Both of your problems may have similar fixes. First of all check that the bulbs are good. When removing the bulbs look at the contact plate in the bottom of the socket and make sure that the contacts have not sunken into the plate causing no connection. The plates are universal and can be robbed/interchanged with other sockets you just need to splice and solder on the motorcycles wire connectors. Next remove the headlight and just makes sure the wires are plugged in for the running light (the connections are match colored). For the tail light remove the seat and check that the taillight wires are still plugged in.
