Hi, Romeg_88 for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary, transport your bike to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your problem. Fan Clutch R&R With Confidence Using Griller....Glitter Tool

...ever found you self asking which way to turn a mechanical fan clutch's inline coupling nut to remove clutch-fan assembly (It) without mangling a thread or special wrench? Well then, consider the Griller...Glitter mnemonic system described below and never fail to be "thread-wise in the know."
If you know or can bump the starter to see which way the fan spins viewed from the radiator, then knowing any or all of the easy-to-remember devices below will let you get that clutch off, or on, with confidence. For instance, with a left thread clutch nut, the installed clutch-fan assembly will always spin right/clockwise.
Remember, you only need to remember the ones that are easy to remember.
    ·GRILR
    ·GOES RIGHT? IT LOOSENS RIGHT.
·If fan clutch spins right/CW, turn its nut right/CW to loosen.
    ·GRITL
    ·GOES RIGHT? IT TIGHTENS LEFT.
·If fan clutch spins right/CW, turn its nut left/CCW to tighten
    ·GLILL
    ·GOES LEFT? IT LOOSENS LEFT.
·If fan clutch spins left/CCW, turn its nut left/CCW to loosen.

Car working fine, suddenly wont start

Be sure it is in fact the right gas cap. Often when you purchase from someone like bumper to bumper etc the parts people get the wrong info. I suggest you go direct to the dealership pickup a cap and see if that solves the problem.

My petrol cap wont unlock

Dear Trudi,
I am so sorry to say the locking gas caps for sale where I live ( Florida) are ALL no good these days.
I have locking caps on 5 cars that I maintain, and 3 times in the last year this has happened to me also.
I have had to return the caps to the store for replacement.
The only way I know to get them off is to drive a screwdriver into the key hole and unscrew it, or squeeze the whole thing with huge pliers, or some other barbaric fix.
Be really careful not to let any pieces fall into the gas tank, so cutting it with a saw would probably be a bad idea.
Be Blessed.

Having a problem everytime its humid out with my Harley. Around 80 to 90 degrees. I had carb rebuilt, replaced fuel line, replaced plugs and wires. Bike will drive for about 3 miles and start spitting...

Hmmm, strange. Two things to check. Since you didn't tell me what year or model bike you have, I'd check the petcock and the tank vent in the fuel cap. The fuel cap is simplest test. Ride the bike until it starts bucking and then loosen the fuel cap. In the case of a Softail with two caps, loosen the left side cap and see if this remedies the problem. Don't that the cap completely off as you may wind up with a lap full of gasoline. If your bike is a model later than 1996, your bike is probably equipped with a vacuum operated fuel petcock. Make sure the vacuum line is connected to the backside of the petcock and the backside of the carb. To test the petcock, pull the fuel line off the petcock, turn the igntion on and spin the engine with the starter. You should have a full flow of fuel from the petcock. If not, replace the petcock.

Good Luck
Steve

The left pedal of my daughter Kawasaki KX 16 Bike wont go in i think it do not have enough threading

Only the left pedal (as you are sitting on the bike) is reverse threaded.

So for the left pedal you turn the bolt head clockwise (towards the back of the bike) to loosen it.
And for the right pedal you turn the bolt head counterclockwise instead (still towards the back of the bike) to loosen it.

How do u disassemble forks

Here is a diagram of your forks:
http://216.37.204.203/Yamaha_OEM/YamahaMC.asp?Type=13&A=140&B=28
Assuming you have already removed your fork cap, you will need to remove the clip # 5 and the bolt # 18 then in a slide hammer type action, pull the upper tube out of the lower tube. There is a washer underneath the fork seal that will pull the fork seal out with the upper tube, so you have to compress the fork tube, then give it a good yank to pull the seal and separate the tubes.

A couple of tips here. First, to loosen the fork cap, loosen the top triple tree pinch bolt at each fork leg before removing the forks from the bike, then loosen the fork cap. You don't have to take the cap off at this time, but break it loose. It is very difficult to hold the fork tube and prevent it from turning once the fork is off the bike and out of the clamp. It is much easier to break it loose and leave it finger tight before dropping the forks out of the triple clamps. The key thing to remember is loosen the pinch bolt before attempting to loosen the cap. The pinch bolt applies extra pressure to the cap and can complicate the process of loosening the cap if left tight.
The other tip would be to use a 3/8" air impact wrench to loosen the allen bolt in the bottom of the fork leg. The internals will want to spin if you try to do it by hand.

Dodge nitro fuel cap

You stated "key in and key out", I'm assuming that your car has a locking gas cap. If that's the case, turn the key to the right (clockwise), once the key stops, hold it in the far right position with your right hand, then grab the gas cap with your left hand and turn it clockwise. That should do it. Hope this helps. If I was able to FixYa, please rate my answer. Thanks.
