Question about 1997 Honda CMX 250 Rebel
The only one you have is internal to the engine. you don't have one to replace on a regular basis. It's more of a screen then a filter. Change you oil regularly. the motor is bullet proof.

hi buddy the rebel has no oil filter just a screen located below the oil pump just change the oil when its turns grey/black

Hello there, did you get a solution to this, it is driving me up the wall, bet you never thought to take the jubilee clip off !
If you do, perhaps you could post it as an answer to your own question to help others as well cos I think there must be a lot of stripped manifold studs out there!
