Question about 2008 Honda CBR 1000 RR Fireblade
I do not have a clue about this cycle being an oil burner. It may use more oil than usual if you drive it hard, but any engine will. Part of your daily , or at least once a week , pre-trip inspection should be to check the oil. Your concern should be replaced by diligence. One should never ride a motorcycle with out routine inspection for your own safety, and for that of others. Your attention to detail will soon make you the local expert on the cycle and the partial quart left over from the previous oil change will probably never get used.
