Your Kawasaki klx125 is a four stroke motor cycle. Do not use 2 stroke oil. Use any oil that is JASO MA certified motorcycle oil . In this case use 10w-40. A synthetic oil has some benefits . Your bike will run cooler and shift easier. Do not use car oil or any oil that says Energy Conserving on the label. These oils will shorten the life of your wet clutch and transmission gears ( different additives ).

I've just dumped the old oil in my 1972 cb350 twin. I've just bought Penrite 20w-50 to replace it as a friend advised me this is the best, another friend told me I should have bought 10w-50. The manual...

Hello,

Just as long as you don't use any synthetic oil products, you can use 10W-40 or 10W-50. I use 10W-50 during the summer months and 10W-40 during the winter months.

Synthetic oils are not made for old bikes and will most likely cause damage to your bike, especially your clutch system.

I hope this helps. If you find this information useful, please vote on this post. Thank you.

0 to 104 degrees F 15W-40 or 15W-50
-4 to 104 degrees F 10W-40 or 10W-50

What kind of oil should i use for a 2004 Chrysler town and country?

Driving conditions / oil

(Note all oils are NON-DETERGENT)

City hot / SAE 20W - 50
City warm / SAE 10W - 40
City cold / SAE 5 -30 or 5W-40

Rural hot / SAE 20W - 50
Rural warm / SAE 10W - 40
Rural cold / SAE 5W - 30

Brand does not really matter as the SAE designation makes them all the same other than a few manufacturer specific additives i.e Techron ect.

Have just bought a used ariens st1032. have no manual and wondering if unleaded gas and 10w - 40 oil will work on this machine?

assume it's 4-cycle engine. regular gas, and 10w-40 should be safe- might want to use single weight 30w oil. you won't need multi-weight if you're living in a cold climate- won't be using it in the snow! check oil level, and top-up when needed!
good luck!

SV650S Alternative Engine Oil

Suzuki recommends the use of SUZUKI PERFORMANCE 4 MOTOR OIL or an oil which is rated SF or SG under the API (American Petroleum Institute) classification system. The viscosity rating should be SAE 10W-40. If an SAE 10W-40 oil is not available, select an alternative according to the information below: -4°F - 86°F: 10W-30 -4°F - 104°F+: 10W-40, 10W-50 6°F - 104°F+: 15W-40, 15W-50 14°F - 104°F+: 20W-50 Engine life depends on oil amount and quality. Daily oil level checks and periodic changes are two of the most important maintenance itmes to be performed.
