Gas filter on fuel injected models is in the fuel tank attached to the fuel pump. Requires removiing fuel pump from tank to do so.

SOURCE: removing harley davidson ultra classic gas tank

Drain the fuel either by siphening or removing the cross over tube at the front of the tank and letting it drain that way or just block off those cross over lines and leave the fule in the tank for removal.

0) remove seat
1) drain fuel
2) undo cross over line (bottom front of gas tank.
3) shut off pet **** and remove fuel line from pet ****.
4)there should only be 2 bolts holding the tank on, one at the top front of the tank and one at the back of the tank.

All in all a pretty easy (but possibloy messy) job.

My 2005 ultra classic EFI sat all winter I rode it once it popped through the exhaust, Itstarted yesterday then shutoff Ireplaced cps and drain gas and replaced with fresh 93 octane see like no spark

Hi T Tolo, and the usual suspects are:
1. Fuel tank empty.
2. Fuel supply valve/petcock turned off.
3. Fouled spark plugs.
4. Engine flooded as a result of over use of enrichner.
5. Vacuum hose to fuel supply valve/petcock disconnected, broken, cracked, or pinched.
6. Fuel valve/petcock or filter clogged.
7. Discharged battery, loose or broken battery terminal connections especially the "NEGATIVE" cable at both ends.
8. Loose wire connection at the coil, battery or plug between ignition sensor and module.
9. Spark plug cables in bad condition and shorting, cable connections loose, or connected to the wrong cylinders.
10. Ignition timing incorrect due to a faulty ignition coil, ignition module or sensors (MAP, CMP CKP and/or BAS).
11. Sticky or damaged valve or pushrod wrong length.
12. Primary cam sprocket spline sheared or missing spacer.
13. Security alarm needs a reset.

2005 ultra classic low oil pressure and making tapping noise. Is changing oil and filter likely to be a fix? Just got the bike a week ago has 25000 miles

The engine is sensitive to oil weight and quality of oil due to the valves lifter being hydraulic lifters. Yes changing the oil could help. Lifter may have failed. Oil pump my have failed.
