If you're talking about the trip reset knob, it should have a small screw inside of it holding it on.

Good Luck

1993 acura legend odometer and trip dont work

If the speedometer and odometer do not work, the problem could be the speed sensor in the transmission.
If the speedometer works but the odometer does not, the problem is in the cluster.

My 1993 honda civic speedometer and odometer do not work, how can I fix the problem?

Check the cables and connector for the speed sensor. It's located on the transmission towards the firewall. The connector has three pins on it. I just had to replace mine, went to the junkyard and paid $3 for the connector, because it was corroded. If the cables are clean and OK then replace the speed sensor. It ranges in price from $65 to $105.
