It would be very unusual if it didnt, slight model changes rarely effect the basic engine set up. But, why dont you find a good boiler maker and get him to weld yours up. That is a simpler plan and it will still be your bikes part.
Visit the Honda Riders Club of America. Join for a couple bucks and you can view the service manual for your model. You can even download and print it I believe. In your case, membership is a good investment. I believe a 25 year old document will otherwise be hard to come by.
